Turn down for what?
iHeartRadio's Paul the Web Guy hit the town to see what happened when he talked to people on the street in New York City using the lyrics from Lil Jon and DJ Snake's "Turn Down for What" hit song.
In the "Lyrics on the Street" clip, Paul sat on a subway clad in a suit and tie saying "Turn Down for What" next to a guy sitting next to him, and looked like he was having some sort of seizure as he repeated "shots, shots, shots" to two people standing near a crosswalk.
That was just the beginning. Paul continued to spread his message of not turning down to the masses, even stopping to sing the words "Turn Down For What" to an unsuspecting group of teens. Prior to this episode, Paul hit the street and only talked to people only using the lyrics from "Drunk in Love."
"So, I filled the bathtub halfway and I rode it on my surfboard," he told someone, as the man looked at him and walked away. "Flashing lights? Flashing lights? Oh no, you look like my friend "Flashing Lights," he told someone else.
