Graduation season is here and we've been enjoying all the buzz about high school and college graduates making headlines. But this one floored us.
We're loving this story of a 10-year-old who graduated from high school, though we can barely get our brains around the idea of it. A kid who should still be in elementary school is now done with his entire pre-college education.
While he's clearly a genius, we're not even sure how that works on a maturity and social level. We've seen Doogie Howser, but how does this all work in the real world?
10-year-old Tanishq Abraham, who was homeschooled, earned his high school diploma over the weekend with a 4.0 GPA. To back up, he became the youngest member of MENSA when he was 4 and started taking college courses at age 7.
Tanishq told KXTV, "It wasn't, like, easy, but it was not that hard either."
His next step? He hopes to attend medical school at the University of California, Davis - and he's got big aspirations, including working on a cure for cancer. He explained, "My ultimate goal would be science, like scientist or doctor, but also want to be President, too."
Aim high, kid.
