Kim Kardashian and Kanye West took their daughter North West on her first trip, but it was unfortunately not a leisurely vacation for the famous fam as they were attending the funeral for Kanye's grandfather.Baby North West is already getting a glimpse of what life is like for her jet-setting parents.Unfortunately, since this is such a somber occasion, we're guessing the first family trip wasn't too much fun for anyone.
Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and their daughter were all in Oklahoma this weekend to attend the funeral for Kanye's grandfather, Portwood Williams Sr., who passed away on August 10.
"That's why they weren't at Kylie's birthday," a source explained to People magazine. "They brought North, too. Her first trip."
Kylie Jenner's birthday party was on Saturday night, which was the same day as the funeral.
Truthfully, we're a little shocked that they managed to travel halfway across the country and avoid paparazzi, but however they did it, we're glad they were able to make the trip and see the family during such an important time.
Kanye's grandfather was 98 when he died.
