Amanda Bynes recently transferred from a Ventura, CA hospital to the UCLA Psychiatric hospital for what was originally believed to be another month's stay, but now it looks like...Well, it looks like Amanda Bynes will be staying at UCLA psychiatric hospital for quite some time. The troubled actress was originally being treated at a Ventura, CA facility before being transferred to UCLA where her parents (who have been granted a temporary conservatorship) hoped that she would get top-notch care.
At first, Amanda was expected to stay at UCLA for a month, but according to a new report, it could be two months or more!
"It's expected that Amanda will remain at UCLA for the next two months because she has a very complex mental health issues that need to be dealt with," a source tells RadarOnline. "It will also take a significant chunk of time to get Amanda therapeutic on several prescriptions for her condition - and to make sure it's working properly."
Hopefully the extension means that they're hopeful that they can get to the bottom of whatever has been plaguing the former Nickelodeon star.
Amanda has been hospitalized since she started a fire in someone's driveway on July 22. The star was originally placed on a 72-hour 5150 hold, which has since been extended.
Amanda's mother, Lynn, has the power to make decisions involving her health and finances under the temporary conservatorship, which ends on September 30.
