We caught up with the cast of 'The To Do List' and talked to them about their high school experiences, what's on their to-don't lists and advice for teens when it comes to losing their "v-card."The To Do List is a film set in the summer of 1993 when Brandy Clark (Aubrey Plaza), an awkward and straight-A student attempts to lose her virginity before she takes off for college. With the help of her friends, Brandy creates a list of things that she'll need to check off to accomplish her goal.We caught up with the cast to hear about their high school experiences, what's on their to-don't lists and advice for teens when it comes to losing their "v-card."
"I was actually a great student," Scott Porter told us. "Physics was my favorite course in high school." Sarah Steele said, "I was super type-A, super success orientated." Rachel Bilson, who is best known for her spoiled rich girl character on The O.C., had to clear the air. "I wasn't snobby," she said. "I was small and nice."
There's a lot on Brandy's to-do list in the film, but what's on the cast's personal to-don't lists? Ready for this? "I don't know if kids dry hump anymore," said Scott. "It was fun and then the next morning it's painful and you're like 'What is happening?'"
The actors also gave advice when it comes to losing your v-card. "Do it with someone you care about," said Taran Killam. "You got to use protection, it's a natural thing, but be safe." Sarah recommended chatting with close friends. "I really do think that female sexuality is poorly understood and not talked about as much as it should be. I've learned so much from just talking to my girlfriends in college."
Scott added, "That's why this film is so great. It's a right of passage that everyone goes through."
Don't forget to add this film to your to-do list when it comes out July 26!
