While Amanda has certainly been very rude to other celebs many times over the past few months, it seems like bad timing for Ashley to poke fun at the troubled Nickelodeon star, who's currently in the hospital.
Amanda was committed under a 5150 psychiatric hold after she started a fire in a random person's driveway on Monday.
The 27-year-old is reportedly showing signs of schizophrenia and her parents are expected to request a conservatorship because she's unfit to take care of herself.
UPDATE: Ashley just Tweeted an apology saying she was unaware of the circumstances. "To clear up the whole Instagram thing, I had no idea what her situation was," she wrote. "Truly sorry if I offended anyone."
