Katy Perry was involved in a legal entanglement with a hair company that she claimed reneged on a verbal $2 million deal. Now, Katy just scored a major victory against the company. Now, the "Fireworks" singer has won a big lawsuit against a hair company that allegedly tried to pull a fast one on her.
Earlier this year, Katy was planning to file a suit against Good Hair Day (GHD), claiming that they reneged on a $2 million deal that she had with them.
Upon hearing about the impending suit, the company delivered a pre-emptive strike, suing the singer first. They tried to block Katy from filing the suit and said that they chose not to use her anymore because her popularity had plummeted in Europe.
Obviously, that didn't stop Katy and she countersued.
According to TMZ, Katy was successful in her effort and just logged a big legal victory against the company, which reportedly involved them paying her a "significant amount of money."
Looks like the company isn't having such a "Good Hair Day," after all!
