The 22-year-old former reality star entered a rehab facility on Sunday night for alcohol abuse, RadarOnline reports.
"At this time in my life, I need to stay focused on the positive to get through all of the negative that a DUI has caused in my life," she told the site. "I'm 22 and I want to make better choices and ensure I can recognize when I am putting myself in a bad situation next time."
Farrah was arrested back in March for driving under the influence and ordered to attend alcohol education classes as part of her punishment. During a radio interview while she was still in alcohol school, Farrah talked about how it was an eye-opening experience and that she was learning a lot, so that might have been what inspired her most recent move.
The rehab program is a 10-day outpatient program at The Lukens Institute in Palm Gardens, Florida, which touts itself as a "Luxury Rehab Center."
Farrah's 4-year-old daughter Sophia will be staying with her grandfather (Farrah's dad) while she is in rehab.
This comes on the heels of a couple of difficult months for the former Teen Mom star, who plead guilty to DUI, made a sex tape and has been on a nationwide tour doing appearances at strip clubs.
We applaud Farrah's effort to treat her affliction and hope that everything works out for the best.
