Lady Gaga had hip surgery in February, which caused her to cancel her 'Born This Way' ball. Now, the singer has taken the stage for her first official post-surgery performance.Little monsters, rejoice!
Lady Gaga (aka Mother Monster) has finally returned to the stage.
Although it wasn't for a full-fledged concert, it WAS the first time we've seen Gaga on stage since her hip surgery back in February, so we'll take whatever we can get!
Gaga, a very outspoken advocate for gay rights, took the stage at New York's Gay Pride Rally to celebrate the recent victory for same-sex marriage following the Supreme Court striking down the Defense of Marriage Act.
After a brief speech, the pop star sang the National Anthem and replaced the word "banner" in the song with "flag of Pride," which she was proudly waving.
While she hasn't been on stage in months, it's clear from the very first note that Mother Monster hasn't missed a beat!
Check out the video above and tell us what you think of Gaga's first official post-surgery performance.
