Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger reportedly tied the knot this weekend in the South of France, but the reports came trickling in that they weren't actually married yet. Find out what happened and when the wedding will really happen.There have been many conflicting reports about whether Avril Lavigne's wedding has taken place or not. The 28-year-old rocker, who has been engaged to Nickelback frontman Chad Kreuger since August 2012, had reportedly tied the knot this weekend in the South of France on Sunday, but it seems those reports were actually a bit premature.
According to Us Weekly, Avril and Chad simply had a little pre-wedding party for their guests while the ceremony itself will not take place until Monday, July 1.
As for what they can expect, Avril recently said that it would be a one-of-a-kind experience for all of their guests.
"I'm the one who has the crazy vision and he's letting me be me," she spilled. "I just want to make sure I really enjoy this amazing time and I want all the guests who come to have this once in a lifetime experience. I want everyone to say 'Wow!' and for it to be special for everyone, not just us."
Avril also claimed that the venue was "out of control," but did not reveal any further info except that she thought the location was the best part of the whole thing.

This will be Avril's second marriage (she was married to Deryck Whibley from 2006-2009) and Chad's first.
