The black comedy is the fifth collaboration between director Martin Scorsese and star Leonardo DiCaprio. Leo plays an ambitious guy with an eye for millions and a penchant for partying. So yeah, we can see him hanging out on a yacht surrounded by models (been there, done that...offscreen).
Leo delivers a great line, "The year I turned 26, I made $49 million, which really pissed me off because it was just shy of $1 million a week."
Leo is in his element surrounded by rich people (think Aviator, The Great Gatsby and Titanic), but this time he shows he's got a real flair for comedy. The Wolf of Wall Street is based on a real life former stock broker's memoir and tells the story of a stockbroker who refuses to cooperate in an investigation into corruption on Wall Street, the corporate banking world and mob infiltration. The film also stars Matthew McConaughey (with not just a shirt, but a suit and tie on!) Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner, Kyle Chandler, Margot Robbie, Jon Bernthal, Cristin Milioti, P.J. Byrne and Ethan Suplee.
