The day after the tragedy, Blake announced the "Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert" to help his home state.
At the time, he didn't really have a plan. He didn't know where or when it would take place, he didn't know who would sign on to help, he just knew that it had to be pulled together quickly.
Now, just over a week later, Blake has secured fellow Voice coach, Usher, along with Darius Rucker, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, Rascal Flatts, and Ryan Tedder of One Republic.
