After Chris Brown refused to hand over his driver's license following a fender bender in Los Angeles last week, he could be charged with violating his probation and be sentenced to up to four years in jail.Last week, Chris Brown was driving through LA with girlfriend du jour, Karrueche Tran. The pair pulled over after Chris' Range Rover rear ended a Mercedes.
In video from the scene, Karrueche and the woman both have their phones out and the woman appears to be either typing information into the phone or texting.
When Chris returns, he has a brief exchange with the woman and then asks the paparazzo if he took pictures of the whole thing.
Everything seemed to be going fine-- neither the woman nor Chris seemed upset and it looked like they handled everything they needed to handle.
However, TMZ is now reporting that Chris is being investigated for hit and run because he apparently refused to hand over his driver's license and gave the woman incorrect insurance information during the exchange.
Since Chris is still on probation for beating Rihanna on the night of the 2009 Grammys, he could face up to four years in prison for something that started out as a simple fender bender.
Do you think Chris will go to jail?
