West Midlands radio station Free West held the contest to give fans a chance to win Take Me Home tour tickets. All they had to do was solve six clues in the area to locate the hidden tickets.
Fast forward to 100 fans descending upon Liam's family home to have a look through bushes and plants.
Liam's dad, Geoff, told The Sun, "I'm much better now that the competition is over. I've had people loitering around the house for days on end now. I'm glad someone won it."
Days?!
He added, "There have been people hiding round corners looking for them."
Okay, that's all a bit creepy.
A source tells The Sun, "The fans were in Liam's family's front garden for quite a while. His dad rang the show to say he was relieved the competition was over as fans were mooching around the lawn. Geoff saw the funny side of it, thankfully."
What were the clues that led fans to Liam's house? "They are close to somewhere beautiful" and "could have been an ancient burial site."
Where were the tickets then? The Sun reports the tickets "were later found taped to the back of a nearby road sign in Wolverhampton."
Of course.
