An Artist Used the Hate Sent to Caitlyn Jenner to Make Something Beautiful

We never thought something beautiful could come out of the hateful and awful things that were being said about and to Caitlyn Jenner, but this artist just surprised us in the most amazing way.

Manchester-based artist Conor Collins got tired of seeing all of the hateful tweets - including death threats - that were sent to Caitlyn Jenner after she announced her transition, so he took all of those tweets and used them to recreate her Vanity Fair cover. Conor told Buzzfeed that he was horrified by some of the comments he saw on Caitlyn's Twitter and that's what prompted him to make the piece. He doesn't call it "inspiration," though, and he has a powerful reason why. "I think 'inspiration' gives the idea of energy and motivation. It was something much sadder... that drove me," he told them. "It was horrible having to research and write the tweets onto the canvas."

Sadly, he tells The Hollywood Reporter that he has been receiving hate mail as his work is getting more and more attention. However, he's not letting it affect him. "I find the more hate mail I receive, the better job I am probably doing," he told them.

He doesn't know whether or not Caitlyn herself has seen the photo yet, but we're sure she would be deeply touched if she did.
