​Create Your Own Makeup At Home With This 3D Printer

girls makeupA year ago, TechCrunch reported on Mink, a company founded by fierce female Grace Choi - who was only 30 years old at the time. The Mink 3D Printer is a product Grace produced to allow young girls, aged 13-21, to create their own makeup in the comfort and convenience of their home or dorm room.

In the printer's initial reveal in 2014 it printed makeup in solid-powder form, derived from a color of your choice from the web.

The product - and Grace - gained huge coverage, being dubbed the next big thing in makeup and tech. Grace was given a slew of awards and solidified herself as a force to be reckoned with, giving us another badass female entrepreneur to look up to.

So, where is Grace's product now? When watching the video (provided above) I was impressed with Grace's product, but unsure of how well it would do in the market. In the video, Grace describes makeup companies as the enemy, saying they, "control the industry." She quotes, "The makeup industry makes a whole lot of money on a whole lot of bullshit." #WhoaFelicia

Personally, I admire some makeup companies. Chanel, for one, has marketed the brand into the Dutchess Kate of makeup, and I love it - even if I can't afford to purchase the products on a regular basis. There's just something about those looped C's that makes a woman feel #fine #fierce and #beautiful.


I do, however, agree with Grace's initiative to empower young girls to be the creator of their own brand, building their own #fine #fierce and #beautiful.

In the video from TechCrunch in 2014, Grace shows the creation process as grabbing a color from a YouTube video, pasting it into Photoshop, then printing it through the 3D printer to produce the makeup. The makeup prints in a solid powder form, which can be used as eyeshadow, blush, or mixed to make lipstick or other types of makeup.

While it demoed a simple concept, the process still felt like it needed a smoother workflow to production. Fast-forward to 2015, and Mink has now released a limited edition Mink x Makers 3D Printer, complete with a simple, easy-to-use app that lets you snap the color you want and print makeup directly from the 3D printer.

You can check out the enhanced workflow on Mink's website. The Mink x Makers 3D Printer is currently available for pre-order, retailing for $275.00, around the same price Grace stated she'd sell for over a year ago ($300.) The accessories to diversify your makeup production range from $10-$35.

This all sounds fun and very Pinterest, but I wonder how many young girls are going to want to spend $275 on a printer for their bedroom to produce makeup. Christmas present, anyone?

Let's Address Those One Direction Rumors: Is 1D Breaking Up?

This year has been a whirlwind ride for One Direction fans. Before 2015, no one had envisioned the five-piece boyband to lose a member, continue on as a four-piece or have the possibility of a breakup so soon. However, since Zayn Malik has left the band, Directioners have been at constant fear that this could be the end. As of yesterday, rumors have circulated that the band will take a hiatus in March to pursue solo projects. Although this is not a "breakup," this just gives me flashbacks to the Jonas Brothers who took a hiatus, and then proceeded to breakup. My heart cannot handle this.
When Zayn left in March, I thought that would be the end. However, Harry, Louis, Liam and Niall stuck around for us. "Drag Me Down" was released overnight, and it broke records beyond belief. The On the Road Again Tour has been making millions of dollars and selling out several nights. The show I went to at Metlife Stadium was sold out completely! This has had Directioners believing that the end was not near, and there was hope for One Direction to continue.

As of yesterday, rumors have begun to circulate that the band will start their hiatus in March to pursue solo projects. What does this mean? This means that there could possibly be no tour for the fifth album, and it could be the end of the boyband's era.

Even though there is a possibility that this could be the end, I feel it is very necessary the boys get a break. They have been touring and recording for five years straight - something no other act does. The group releases an album every year, tours every year, releases perfumes, writes for other artists and promotes sponsors. The boys seem tired, and they are in need of this hiatus. Regardless if the rumors are true or not, this "break" is much needed for the One Direction boys. All I'm hoping is that this won't be like the Jonas Brothers and won't result in a breakup in the end.
For now, these rumors are unconfirmed, but hopefully this is not the end of the era for One Direction. Keep on breaking records boys, but take the break you deserve. We'll just keep on listening to "Drag Me Down" on repeat.

Celebrity Sightings In New York - June 12, 2014Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick have certainly had their fair share of ups and downs lately and this isn't the first time the high-profile pair has ever taken a break. Something about this one felt pretty final, though.

Despite the fact that they just welcomed their third child together in December, the pair split up in July after Scott's month-long absence from the family home, during which he was photographed partying with his ex-girlfriend.

Given that they do share three kids together, they have obviously had to maintain at least some contact so that they can arrange visits and other things that are involved in co-parenting. Recently, however, Scott's social media posts have people wondering if Mason, Penelope and Reign's parents are back "on" again.

Over the weekend, Scott shared a sweet photo of daughter Penelope sleeping with the caption, "Love coming home and seeing my little girl napping and looking this cute." He later deleted the photo, but then shared this pic from what looked like the backyard of their family home with the caption "chill time."

While a lot of commenters seemed convinced that this was the backyard of the family home, a source tells TMZ that it is not.

Kourtney has also been sharing some cryptic stuff on her social media accounts and it's hard to tell if she's talking about a possible reconciliation and on that note, whether she would be for, or against, it.

Community Celebrates Girl's Birthday When Nobody Showed Up for Her Party

Beyond right actually, saving the day to make one amazing and memorable birthday bash.

Taliyah Sassmannshausen was expecting 30 people to attend her fifth birthday party in Spring Hill, Tennessee, but sadly none of her friends showed up.

C'mon, people. Party etiquette 101 - if you RSVP that you'll be there...then be there.

With plenty of food and drinks, a rented water slide...and no guests for their daughter's birthday, her mom wrote about the party on a local Facebook page:

"Does anyone have any kids that want to come over and celebrate my daughter's birthday with us? Not one person has shown up except a few adults and she keeps asking me where her friends are. It is seriously breaking my heart, we have PLENTY of food and drinks. We don't care about presents, she just wants friends."

Here's the amazing thing. Like, beyond what we would have ever imagined. Within 10 minutes of the post, more than 75 people showed up!

Taliyah's mom wrote on Facebook: "NEVER in my life would I have thought we would have so many people care about a child they didn't know. I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart and I want to express my gratitude to you all for coming out and making my baby girl's birthday so very special."

Okay, people don't always suck. BRB, we're totes crying.

I Never in my life thought a community would pull together like they did today. I had several people RSVP and only a few came. Tallie was asking about every 10 minutes where her friends were, and my response was "they are coming, baby". time passed and none of her friends showed. So I asked the Springhill community if any of their kids wanted to come and celebrate with us!. NEVER in my life would I have though we would have so many people care about a child they didn't know. I want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart and I want to express my gratitude to you all for coming out and making my baby girls birthday so very special. SO THANK YOU!!! GOD IS GREAT

Is One Direction Heading to Splitsville?!

One Direction In Concert - Chicago, ILYesterday, One Direction fans were sent into a frenzy when it was announced that the boys would take a break in the upcoming year. ​The boys announced that they would go on an extended hiatus starting March 2016.

Of course, being a massive fan of One Direction, and even having my own fan account myself, I started seeing the massive panic go across the Web. I know everybody's first thought was, "OMG, the boys are breaking up?!", but the boys are very well going to stay together. Don't worry!

I mean, come on chicas, everybody knows that One Direction just needs a very long and very deserved break. When was the last time they had more than a month break since they were formed? I know last year as well as this year with the departure of Zayn Malik, a majority of the fandom saw some changes with how the boys were acting due to the lack of breaks and times for them to just be normal 21, 22, and 23 year old boys.
After the departure of Zayn this year, the boys started acting like themselves again (and by themselves, I mean the crazy, goofy boys who stole our hearts in 2010). Yes, guys. I know it's hard to think of a long period without seeing the boys touring or writing music, but you can't even imagine how the boys will be when they come back from some time off!

Let's just think about that for a minute. We want them to be all rested and ready to go crazy on us again right? Let's all just relax with them and enjoy there time off as well. (I'll be the girl in the corner with the boys' albums on repeat until we get more music from them, but we will get through this!)

So cheers to the boys' fifth album, "Drag Me Down" music video and the last couple of days of the On the Road Again Tour! I can't wait to see what's to come once the extended hiatus is over!

Is Tyga's New Song "$timulated" About Kylie Jenner?

France Cannes LionsTyga and Kylie Jenner haven't been shy about showing some more PDA since Kylie turned 18 earlier this month, but the lyrics the rapper just dropped in his new song are seriously some next-level ish.

On his new mixtape "Fu** What They Talkin' Bout" everyone is talkin' bout song number nine, entitled "$timulated," where the lyrics are first of all very explicit and second of all, sound very much like he might be referring to Kylie.

"They say she young ... I shoulda waited ... She a big girl, dawg ... When she stimulated," he sings. Granted, there were a couple of lines in there that we couldn't understand and he did say something about the "bank," so maybe he's talking about opening a new bank account and...you know what? There's absolutely no way for us to even describe any real-world situation that couldn't be taken sexually after hearing those lyrics.

Twitter, of course, is pretty sure Tyga is talking about Kylie, BUT for what it's worth, something similar happened after he dropped his song "Pleazer" in June, which included more X-rated lyrics followed by the line "T nasty, 'bout to catch a felony for it." The rapper later clarified the rumors back then, saying the song was NOT about Kylie.

He also tweeted, "If I were to make a song about @kyliejenner it would be way more special & classier," which leads us to believe that "$timulated" is actually NOT about Kylie because...well, that's not exactly what comes to mind when you think of someone writing a 'special and classy' song about you.

Justin Bieber Lookalike and 'Botched' Star Tobias Strebel Reported Missing

Justin Bieber Tobias StrebelSo sad. Botched star Tobias Strebel, better known as the Justin Bieber look-alike, has been reported missing.

The Los Angeles Police Department told E! News that Tobias, who went by Toby Sheldon on the E! reality show, was reported missing on Aug. 18 by Ramuado Espinosa. According to the LAPD, the disappearance could have possibly been caused by his boyfriend breaking up with him. Police don't believe the case to be suspicious.

"This is very unusual for him to be missing. He hasn't done any, not shown up for no reason, no note or anything," his friend Mel Espinosa told ABC7 Sunday. The 35-year-old aspiring singer was last seen in West Hollywood, California.

Tobias appeared on Botched in 2014. It was on there that he revealed that he spent more than $100,000 to look like the Biebs.

"What brought me to Bieber was the whole package: the full cheeks, the full temples, the bright open eyes, the full luscious lips, and spatial framing...[he's] just extraordinarily beautiful," he said on the show.

He also told Maria Menounos on Untold that he wasn't totally happy with his Bieber-like appearance...yet. "I would say I"m like 80 percent happy," he confessed. "I do think I can be one hundred percent happy if I just invest more time, effort and money into the face. I'm addicted to plastic surgery."

We're hoping for the best outcome here. Story developing...

For as much as she's in front of the camera and huge crowds pretty much everywhere she goes, Kylie Jenner seemed super shy about being pulled on stage during pal Pia Mia's concert at CityWalk in Los Angeles last night.

Ky had been Snapchatting all the way up until Pia's big moment when she stepped on stage and was greeted by an eruption of cheers, but what she didn't expect was to have the crowd cheering for her, too.

Niall Horan Confirms One Direction Taking a Break, Not Breaking Up

Well, guys...someone from One Direction has finally cleared up all the rumors of their reported extended hiatus. Niall Horan took to twitter to confirm that the guys are taking a much deserved break.

One Direction is NOT breaking up though. Thank you, Nialler, for putting our minds at ease.

Niall kicked things off by tweeting: "Ok so Lots of rumours going round. We are not splitting up, but we will be taking a well earned break at some point next year"

He added: "Don't worry though, we still have lots we want to achieve ! Can't wait for you to hear all the new music we have for you and to perform" And the fandom let out a collective sigh of relief. We think we can all agree that they totally could use a break...but rest easy, they aren't splitting up for good.

Charli XCX Cancels the Rest of Her Tour Due to "Personal Reasons"

The songstress announced she and Bleachers have canceled the remainder of their co-headlining "Charli and Jack do America Tour" tour, telling fans on Facebook, she needed to cut the tour short because of "personal reasons."

"These personal reasons include the fact that I need to be creative," she wrote. "Artists tour for a really really long time and I have been on the road for a while now, probably not as long as some, but for me it feels like an eternity. I am struggling to create whilst I'm on the road and that is making me unhappy."

Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff also explained the tour's cancellation, writing on Facebook, "love charli. she's my friend and i respect her as a person and as an artist. so here is what happened and i'm just gonna give you the actual story with no filter."

The musician went on to say he got a call from Charli's camp that she couldn't continue on the tour and it "came as a shock." Jack didn't want to cancel the tour, and tried to figure out a way to tour without her, but said, "It has been made clear that reworking the tour at this late stage without charli is not realistic."

He apologized profusely to fans for the tour cancellation, adding, "between refunding and re-ticketing and figuring out what to do with the venues there is just no way to make this work without it being sloppy. you guys ONLY deserve the best shows and im never going to give you anything but my best."

Drake and Serena Williams Were Caught Making Out in a Restaurant

It looks like Drake and Serena Williams are way more than just friends (sorry, Common).

After the "Take Care" rapper watched the tennis pro win the WTA tournament in Cincinnati Sunday (the below pic of Drake looking at a blurry Serena exhibits thirst), the two headed to upscale Italian restaurant, Sotto, and indulged in more than just the food.

According to TMZ, they "couldn't keep their hands and lips off of each other," and the site has the pictures to prove it. They were also reportedly joined by six other people and ordered a round of tequila shots.

This isn't the first time Drake and Serena have been linked together, though. Back in 2012, Drake and her ex-boyfriend, Common, got into a bit of a feud over just that, with the "Glory" rapper later telling VLAD TV in 2014 that his beef with Drake was over her.

"For me, I think it was an emotional thing," he added. "Meaning, I was feeling like, at that time, I think it was the Drake-Serena situation. I didn't know what was going on with that.'" In addition to that former beef, Drake also rapped about Serena on "Worst Behavior," saying, "I'm with my whole set, tennis matches at the crib/ I swear I could beat Serena when she playing with her left."

For now, Drake and Serena are keeping mum about all of this, but it would be tough to deny what's in those pictures (or this gif).

Rob Kardashian Bumps Into Kylie Jenner and Tyga During His Morning Workout

Eclipse At Daylight Beach Club Hosts Preview Featuring DJ AxwellRob Kardashian has been much more active on social media lately and we have to say, we like what we see.

While the recluse 28-year-old has had his fair share of drama with various members of his family and airing some of it out on social media, his most recent posts seem to suggest that he's getting along well with everyone again.

In addition to posting some cute pics of Kanye West and his niece North, Rob also shared one of Kim Kardashian's recent tweets about a hike they went on together, which was a nice change from the last thing he 'grammed about her.

Today, he shared an even more awesome post, with a paparazzi-style pic of Kylie Jenner and Tyga that he took while he was on his morning hike. "Spotted these fools on the morning workout," he wrote, along with the photo below.

We love everything about this pic. First, we think it's so cool that they live so close that they actually bump into each other in their neighborhood. Second, we think it's actually really cute that Tyga and Kylie were doing their morning workout together and finally, we love that Rob was doing a morning workout because we know that getting back on his workout grind is something he's struggled with.

In a recent interview, Khloe Kardashian (who Rob is currently living with) told E! News that Rob has "been working out a little and trying to get his groove back. And he acknowledges it! He's aware that he's very introverted and of course not the way he used to be. I think being aware is probably the best thing."

Looks like he's moving in the right direction!

Kelly Osbourne Blasts Giuliana Rancic: "She's a Liar"

After Kelly Osbourne got blasted for her comment about Latinos on the View, it seemed like that would be a good time to let her beef with Giuliana Rancic go (if there still was one)...and yet, here we are again.

This go-round, the former Fashion Police host kept it all the way real about her feelings for Giuliana, telling TheWrap at the 4th Annual NYX Face Awards in Los Angeles on Saturday, "I will never admit to liking Giuliana because I don't. I don't think she's a good person and I think she's a liar."

Kelly's latest snap comes six months after she threw Giuliana under the bus for a seemingly racist comment the former E! News host made on Fashion Police about Zendaya's dreadlocks at the Oscars.

What makes this situation a little crazy though is Kelly created her own racial scandal (and was called a hypocrite on social media) after she tried to make a point about presidential hopeful Donald Trump's controversial comments about Latinos.

"If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet, Donald Trump?," she said. Clearly, that wasn't the best thing to say. She later apologized on Facebook, writing, "I whole-hearted f**ked up today. I don't want to bullsh*t anyone with lame excuses."

Frankly, I don't feel the need to comment because I think Kelly's comments on live television speak for themselves."

I'm Obsessed With This New Music Video App

Young female DJ at record decks in nightclub, arm raisedI don't know about you, but whenever I watch Beyoncé SLAY in a music video, I think something along the lines of "Wait...I wanna dress in pretty clothes and have killer dance moves and lip sync like a boss."

Horses and headdresses aside, we've found an iOS app that can make that happen for you. It's called Triller, and it edits video clips into a pretty awesome and easy-to-make video.

Here's how it works: Choose a song - either from the featured list on the app or from your own music collection - and select how long you want to be the video to be - up to 30 seconds. Then, choose a filter, and make a video while the song clips plays in the background. This is called a 'take,' and you can make as many as you like. When you hit the Triller button (the bottom-right icon in the screenshot below), the app self edits the takes into something really special.

'Pretty Little Liars' Fans Are Losing It Over This Tweet About Charlotte

The drama on Pretty Little Liars may have died down for now, but a tweet from the show's official handle is already stirring up controversy ahead of the season 6B.

According to Seventeen, a tweet popped up on the show's feed Monday that had a meme of Alison DiLaurentis​, in which she asks her father "He's alive and he's coming for us, isn't he?" While the tweet appeared to be just a clue for what's to come next season, fans didn't take it that way when they read the caption, which said, "He. She. It. Charlotte. #PrettyLittleLiars."
The problem with that is it was revealed in the season-six summer finale that 'A' is Charlotte Dilaurentis - a transgender woman going by the name of Charlotte who changed her name to CeCe Drake when she met the Liars.

She is also Alison's older sister, so the meme made it looks like Alison was referring to Charlotte with that quote. And fans were beyond heated about it.



So far, ABC Family hasn't commented on the meme or the controversy it sparked, but they did delete the tweet.

Justin Bieber Had Hilarious Reaction When Fan Tried to Kiss Him

Justin Bieber at Z100 in New York CityWho wouldn't want to plant a big ol' wet one on Justin Bieber? That's exactly what one Belieber was thinking when she recently met the Biebs outside the Z100 radio station studio in New York City.

Justin got more than he bargained for when the female fan got so excited, she actually stole a kiss while posing for photos. Get it girl!

The kiss, which was first featured on the Instagram page @officialbiebernews, came as a surprise to Justin, who spent the morning hanging out with a number of his biggest fans. The Belieber buttered him up by snuggling a bit, before prepping her lips in an attempt to score a kissy kiss from the singer.

Justin didn't act like it didn't happen or anything. In the video, he can be heard saying, "Are you trying to kiss me right now?" before allowing the adoring fan smooch him on the cheek. #CutestThingEver

This radio show visit is just the latest of promotional events Justin has been doing in the lead up to the release of his new, yet-untitled album, which is said to drop on Friday, November 13. He's been hyping us all up for his new single "What Do You Mean?" which he's had like every famous friend of his help promote. He's releasing that bad boy in four days. Holler!

Students at Old Dominion University are Outraged by Sexist Signs and Here's Why

College is supposed to be a time where young people can expand their horizons, discover new interests, and learn more about themselves in the process. In many instances, that's the case: but we can't deny that college campuses also have some big problems on their hands, especially when it comes to the treatment of women and the culture surrounding sex. Now, signs displayed at Old Dominion University are coming under fire for promoting "rape culture," and it's about time that people stop tolerating this kind of sexist BS.

A house on ODU's campus in Norfolk, Virginia, displayed a few signs "welcoming" the women of the freshman class. The crude, sexually charged messages, which appeared on a student private residence, included things like "Rowdy and fun, hope your baby girl is ready for a good time!" Clearly the "educated" students in this house thought they were being hilarious, which is just proof that they need a lot more schooling. Many students and other people passing by the signs found them to be offensive, but these signs go so beyond being crude: they're just another example of how colleges are not always a safe place for women. These signs promote the idea that women are objects and that it's perfectly acceptable to treat them as such, and the fact that these students felt comfortable sharing their signs with the entire student body just proves how "normal" this kind of messaging is on college campuses.

It's incredibly disappointing (though not surprising) that these signs exist, considering that college campuses have a huge problem with sexual assault. According to recent statistics, one in five women will experience it during their years at school. Nine out of 10 of those women will know their attacker. That's why these signs are so dangerous: they are not-so-subtly suggesting that women can be used by men for sex.

There is some good news about these signs, and that's the fact that the school is not tolerating them. The President of ODU, John R. Broderick, gave a statement to the press about how he was "outraged" and "offended" by the signs, and that while the school is making efforts to educate students about sexual assault and harassment, he is disappointed that not everyone is getting the message. He stated that the school will continue their efforts to combat assault with full force and added that he will review the incident at the house and punish any student found to violate the code of conduct.

Society shouldn't tolerate anything that makes any person feel unwelcome or unsafe, especially in a place of education. We should all be outraged by these signs: they're not jokes, they're threats.

UPDATE: The house in question was one associated with the Sigma Nu fraternity of ODU. According to the ODU Facebook page, the fraternity's national board has since suspended ODU's Eta Chi chapter for their actions.
