Calvin Harris Shows His Girl Taylor Swift Mad Love After She Owns Apple

Taylor SwiftTaylor Swift and Calvin Harris have some mad love going on right now. Tay totally shut down Apple over the weekend, promising not to put her music on their streaming program unless they pay up, and her boo totally thought it was hot.

Like any proud boyfriend would, especially one that's a music man, Cal boasted about Taylor on Twitter. It went down shortly after Apple revealed that they'll pay to stream artists' music during that three month, free trial period Tay was complaining on their new platform. How friggin' adorable, right? She responded by quietly favoriting the Tweet. #RelationshipGoals

This isn't the first time these two have been oh-so-cute about each other. Two weeks ago she posted a photo of them goofing off together in her pool. She also shared a shot of him with her beloved cats.

Read Taylor's entire open letter to Apple, here. No wonder Calvin is so into her!

Liam Payne Reads Louis Tomlinson 'Always In My Heart' Tweet on Stage

One Direction concert Liam Payne reads Larry tweetWe have all the Larry feels here - courtesy of one (clueless) Mr. Liam Payne, who read a very sweet sign during the recent One Direction concert in Oslo.

Liam was reading out some of the fans' banners and signs, and the infamous 2011 Louis Tomlinson tweet to Harry Styles made the cut! You know the one? Of course you do. It reads: "Always in my heart @Harry_Styles. Yours sincerely, Louis."

Yep, that's the one. Liam probably had zero clue about the significance of the bromantic tweet that set the Larry ship in motion, which made it that much cuter.

That 'Always in my heart' tweet became the second most retweeted Twitter post ever, passing the one million retweets mark earlier this year.

It's all rather bromantical, isn't it?

Lauren Wasser model TSSLauren Wasser lost more than her leg at age 24 when she contracted toxic shock syndrome after wearing a tampon overnight. She also lost hope in the wake of her drastic surgery.

"I was in a really dark place and I didn't think that I could go on," she tells People of her life post surgery. "I was so ashamed of my leg." But Lauren perservered because she wanted to set an example for her younger brother, who was 14 at the time. "I wanted to show him that I could be badass and recover and stand strong," she shares. "He really was my motivation to stay alive."

Now, Lauren's suing the manufacturer of the Kotex tampons she used. She hopes to educate other young women about the dangers of TSS and be a positive role model for fellow amputees. "I want to give hope to other little kids with amputations and for them to know that they are still beautiful," she says. "I can turn this into something positive that people can feed off of and grow from and be inspired by. That's my whole life goal now."

You go, gorgeous girl.

Vanessa Hudgens' Little Sister Is Totally Her Twin Now

Vanessa Hudgens' Social Life Magazine PartyThis family has some good genes.

Over the years, we've seen Vanessa Hudgens' younger sis, Stella, grow up right before our eyes as they've hit red carpets and attended events together. But, now that Stella is a little older, we couldn't help but notice she's is turning into the Spring Breaker star's twin.

Just take a look at these two having dinner together recently. "Romantic sister dates - don't act like you don't do it too," Stella captioned the Instagram snap, which showed her sitting next to Vanessa at a restaurant with both of them rocking low-cut black shirts and looking just alike.

A photo posted by @stellahudgens on

Fans are noticing their uncanny resemblance too. "You are Vanessa. Vanessa is you," one fan commented on a shot of Stella wearing a wig that could easily be mistaken for a pic of Vanessa. "Literal twin," another wrote. Seriously, it's wild.

A photo posted by @stellahudgens on

Stella doesn't just look like her older sis, though. She's also following in Vanessa's footsteps. The 19-year-old has been acting since 2002, and recently landed a role in upcoming TV Series Mr. Hollywood. She's also a dancer and posed for her first big ad campaign with Miley Cyrus' little sis, Noah, Cody Simpson's younger sister Alli Simpson, and Vine superstars Jack & Jack and Sammy Wilkinson earlier this year.

"This is my first time doing anything, really, for modeling," she told People at the time. "I didn't know I would have this much fun - it doesn't feel like work! I want to be doing this for a while."

She also dished on what she learned from Vanessa about life in the spotlight. "Vanessa has taught me that my style really represents who I am sometimes, so depending what mood I'm in, that will show. If I'm feeling confident, I'll wear heels and a dress. If I'm feeling lazy I'll wear sweatpants. Vanessa really taught me how to be myself and not keep up with trends. I like to go and do my own thing. And I don't like to keep up with what everyone else is doing. She's always been very experimental and always starting her new trend. So I kind of take after her on that."

For the record, that's Vanessa.

KFC DNA Tests Deep Fried 'Rat', Says It's Actually Chicken

KFC fried rat actually chickenKFC smells a rat, and it's not in this suspicious looking item that Devorise Dixon was served at his local restaurant. The pic he posted on Facebook quickly went viral when the security guard claimed he bit into a deep fried rat instead of the chicken tenders he ordered.

But the fast food chain says they obtained the questionable item and had it DNA tested, and it's actually just chicken. "Recently, a customer questioned the quality of a KFC product, and this received considerable publicity given the sensational nature of his claim," they said in a statement to ABC News.

"On Friday, the customer's attorney turned over the product in question for testing at an independent lab, and the results officially confirmed what KFC knew all along -- the product was chicken and not a rat as he claimed," KFC continued. Now, the company wants an apology from Devorise for spreading lies about their food, but so far, he's been totally silent on social media.

Liam Payne Confirms He's Not Going Solo After Review Gives Fans Major Scare

Liam Payne solo career quitting one direction scareLiam Payne literally gave fans a collective scare over the weekend - but all's good, y'all. Liam is not quitting One Direction for a solo career, though a recent review got interpreted in all the wrong ways and sent fans spinning into a frenzy.

Hey, it's easy to do, we get it. But thankfully, Liam reassured the fandom because he's a sensible dude like that. Thanks, Liam. We admit we let out a breath of relief.

To back up a bit, the Liam solo buzz got stirred up when he thanked a fan for a review done of 1D's Oslo show. Well, the review really focused on Liam specifically, saying he'd be a great solo artist.

Liam tweeted: "Whoever did that review thank you that really means a lot to me x" When another fan said they were "freaking out about that review about liam going solo," he stepped up in a huge way to reassure everyone who was losing their s**t. So, why all the worry? The reviewer wrote: "In conclusion I would definitely attend a Liam Payne concert. He was a joy to watch and looked like he belonged on that stage. With his talents I do believe he has the power to go beyond 1D. He has a big future ahead of him. Payne loves his fans, loves his boys, loves the music and it's obvious."

Um. Yeah. The wording did seem to make it an easy target for fans to start asking questions. We're just happy Liam was there to make everyone feel better. Thanks bae.

Here's Why You Should Care Who Made Your Clothes

Beautiful young blonde girl in white shirt.

Everybody owns a white T-shirt. You know exactly why it's the go-to style staple: It's comfy, it always looks sharp and it pairs well with everything! A white T-shirt is essentially the equivalent to your fave pair of jeans, although this wardrobe basic's effect on the garment industry is anything but.

With Americans consuming nearly 20 billion garments a year, the desire for ever-growing amounts of clothing is pretty much insatiable by U.S.-sanctioned working conditions. Where do you think your T-shirt was made? Most likely, it was created overseas by a fast fashion retailer like UNIQLO, Forever 21 or Zara (Zara alone processes 1 million garments per day!).
tired housewife with huge pile of ironed laundry
That simple shirt might seem inexpensive, but thanks to the horrific working conditions overseas, the people who made it are actually paying with their lives.

As the consumer, you have a choice to make.

Ethically-conscious clothing companies like Zady, Rapanui, Fabindia and The White T Shirt Co make it possible for you to break fast fashion's vicious cycle.
white t-shirt girl
For example at Zady, every step of the shirt manufacturing process happens in the United States. That way, owners Maxine Bedat and Soraya Darabi can keep an eye on the process from start to finish. The cotton is grown in Texas, sent to North Carolina for spinning, knitting and dyeing, and then it's sewn by someone in a worker-owned factory.

Sure, a plain white shirt from a fast fashion retailer might cost around $15, but for about $20 more, you can ensure your shirt wasn't made by a 9-year-old child in Dhaka.

Why would you want to buy four or five T-shirts a year that are so cheap, they'll fall apart in the wash anyway? Invest in a high quality T-shirt that will last, and support these caring companies in the process!

Brenda Song and Trace Cyrus Back Together? New Pic of Them Holding Hands

brenda song trace cyrus dating back together picDid Brenda Song and Trace Cyrus get back together? There's plenty of buzz that the former Disney Channel star may have reunited with her ex, after she posted this pic of them holding hands on a beach.

We're surprised Brenda and Trace would be dating again given how things got pretty heated between them after Brenda took to Instagram a month ago to set the record straight on some past rumors.

Brenda wrote at the time: "I usually never speak of my personal life, but I'd like to clear up some rumors. A few years ago there were rumors that I was pregnant and/or had a miscarriage. I just want to say that those rumors were not true. They were just lies and fabrications. I apologize for not clearing this up sooner and for the continual damage that these lies have caused @TraceCyrus."

She added, "We may no longer be together but I hope he can forgive me and I wish him nothing but the best."

Trace slammed Brenda, accusing her of making up fake pregnancy rumors, firing back with: "Yes they were lies THAT U MADE UP and told me, my entire family and all our friends."

He further dissed Brenda in another Instagram post, saying they weren't together because "she has been a pathological liar for years and lied to me about horrible things."

Wow. We find it hard to believe their relationship could recover from that, tbh, but it looks like all may be forgiven with this new photo, plus another of the couple on Trace's Instagram. Brenda has been commenting on his Instagram posts as well, writing on a bowling video: "This is the cutest thing ever haha."

They definitely look cozy in the pic, with Trace's arm around her as they hold hands (side note: how gorg does Brenda look?) - do you think they've reconciled and are dating again?

#CookingProbs Solved With This Futuristic Oven

Funny cooking image
Remember in Back to the Future when Marty McFly's mom bakes a pizza in 5 seconds with her magic oven?

Well, that oven may finally be here. What a coincidence, too, since the year was 2015 in the movie...
The June Intelligent Oven, built by ex-Apple, GoPro and Fitbit engineers, aims to help even the most challenged of us in the kitchen. The June can do it all - well, close enough at least. It has a built-in scale, so as soon as you put your food in, it's weighed and the appropriate settings are automatically set for cooking.

But wait. How does it know what you're trying to cook? This oven has a camera - but it isn't just any camera. Built by the same guy who developed the iPad and iPhone cameras, this camera has a special algorithm (a fancy word for code) that sees what kind of food you're trying to cook. It then sets the appropriate cook settings based on that and the weight. Fun fact: The algorithm used is similar to the one used for Google Images. Yes, this oven is actually smarter than you. Like, way smarter.
Of course, the June has an app that shows the progress of your meal and alerts you when it's ready. While you're marathoning Orange is the New Black, you don't have to be interrupted by checking on your food. What makes this different than any other oven - or microwave for that matter - is that it caters to us with busy lives.

We love to host dinner parties - but we have yoga after work or class, then we need to get home in time to watch Scandal. Where is there room to make an actual decent meal? Lean Cuisines suck and have zero flavor, and grilling a steak is like solving an algebra problem - too many factors. The June presents itself as the perfect balance: compact and smart with the ability to make a decent meal in a short amount of time. Aside of the hefty price tag, the June might just be the full package.

Now, if it made pizza in 5 seconds, I would totes get out my credit card.

Will you be pre-ordering the June?

Harry Styles Shows Off Seriously Impressive Ninja Skills

harry styles ninja on stage climbs fence video
Harry Styles, get off the damn fence, boy! The One Direction star turned daredevil at a recent concert, climbing up and hopping a fence to...well, why exactly did he do that?

In true Harry fashion, the hottie went above and beyond (literally) to actually get closer to the people on the other side. So he could say hi. Like you do. In the video that his mom retweeted, Harry's seen scaling the fence to greet the backstage crew/security, giving out handshakes to everyone!
Harry is turning into an all around perf guy - hopping fences like it's no biggie and becoming an actual ninja on stage. While he narrowly missed a banana flung at his face recently (his reaction is amaze), it was Harry's cat-like reflexes as he caught another item chucked at him that has us bowing down.

Seriously? How did he do that?

Female Masturbation Has a New, Glittery Name to Encourage Sexual Equality

$

Hand sprinkling light sparkles in studio
Let's get one thing straight here: there is absolutely nothing unusual about female masturbation. Your guy friends may already feel completely comfortable with their own "self-love," but many women still feel the stigma that masturbating is something they should feel embarrassed or ashamed of doing. Now there's a new word for the act that its creators are hoping will destigmatize the act: the Swedish Association for Sexuality Education (RFSU) has declared that the word "klittra" is the unofficial term for female masturbation and it's an awesome step in sexual equality.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with choosing to masturbate as a woman - in fact, many studies have shown that it can be a pretty healthy thing to do! But despite the fact that masturbation is seen as normal and common for guys, many people don't think that masturbation is something the average woman does. Kristina Ljungros, spokesperson for the RFSU, understands that not having a word for the act means that we are inadvertently silencing women who do want to discuss it - or do it. Kristina stated:

When it comes to masturbation, people mostly think about just men doing it and we don't think of it as common for women. If we don't have a word in the language, how can we even talk about it?

I think it's awesome that the RFSU is encouraging people to use this new word, especially because the word itself has such a positive connotation. The word itself is a combination of "clitoris" and "glitter" - can you think of anything more fun? I hope that klittra makes its way into not only the Swedish dictionary, but also into our everyday dialogue in the United States and around the globe. It's not just guys who should feel comfortable to "give themselves a hand" and this word is a step in the right direction.

When you graduated high school, you may have gotten cake and balloons, but a a billboard?! Aljelani "AJ" Igwe, a senior from Camden's LEAP Academy, was shocked to see his face on a neighborhood billboard that his proud mom rented to congratulate him on his achievements. Ovella O'Neal, a single mom of six, is celebrating her son's academic success in a larger than life way.

"A mother can't raise a man, but I raised a gentleman," the billboard reads, alongside AJ's graduation photo. Ovella raised her son with strict rules, including no girlfriend or cell phone and a curfew mandating he be home before dark. It looks like her tough love paid off. In a town when 35 percent of residents haven't finished high school, AJ is heading to Rowan University to study engineering this fall.
Graduation memeWhile earning his degree and pursuing his own dreams at college, AJ hopes to give his mom her dream car one day. "I know I want my own house and my mom wanted a BMW so I'm going to try get her that too," he told CBS 3 News.

Clearly both AJ and his mom know that education is the best investment in yourself!

Say Goodbye to 'Skinny': Google Chrome Extension Swaps 'Bad' Body Words

love your body card with...
Now that it's summertime it seems that every magazine out there is telling you how to slim down for that perfect "bikini body," or criticizing the celebrities whom haven't yet achieved this BS body ideal. All of this negative body talk can be discouraging, but luckily there are some people who are actively trying to change this conversation. Lauren Conrad made headlines for choosing to remove the body-shaming words "skinny," "slim," and "thin" from her website, and now a new Chrome app is taking it one step further. The Honest Chrome extension is replacing "skinny," "slim," and "thin" with the more body-positive words "fit," toned," and "healthy," and while it won't stop body-shaming all together, it is a step in the right direction.

Creator Sue Lee had a very important mission with her app, and that's to spark a conversation about how our media discusses our bodies and appearance. She told Cambio:

The idea came to me while I was reading about Lauren Conrad's blog post, June Shape Up on MTV News. I was thinking while it's a great she's changing the wording and tone on her website, what about all the other sites out there? I could easily change that with a simple Chrome extension.

It's important to note that while the Chrome extension does swap out words, it does not necessarily make the content more body positive. After all, not every person described as "skinny" by the press is living a healthy lifestyle. For Sue, this app is just the beginning of a dialogue:

We only started with those three words because of LC's post, but we're hoping to expand beyond them. We recognize that not all skinny, slim, and thin people are healthy, but we figured this would be a conversation starter. We're hoping people submit other words they want swapped; this is just the beginning.

Changing the wording of websites won't necessarily make our society less inclined to body shame, but being able to see how often negative words are swapped for positive ones should give media consumers some pause. The Honest word counter, which is located in the top right corner of your browser, can show you just how many words are swapped. Certain websites will no doubt raise eyebrows for how often they use body-shaming language. (For the record, there is one word that won't be replaced, and that's "skinny jeans" - the only thing that should be described as such.)

The Honest extension is a great way to check how the media is talking about bodies, and hopefully will remind people to check their own language. That's what Sue tells Cambio she's hoping for with this app:

The endgame is that an app like this will not be needed. The endgame is that we talk more about being healthy than we do [with] fitting (and having) a particular body shape. I hope this app helps shift the focus.

That sounds beautiful to me.

These Smart Feminist Stickers Brilliantly Take Down Sexism in Advertising

London, UK. 28th April 2015. A dietary poster for World Protein featuring a toned woman wearing a yellow bikini has been criticisSexism is rampant in our media, and many advertisements are guilty of turning women into nothing more than bodies to be objectified. It's frustrating to see ads that strip women of their humanity by turning them into sexualized objects or use photo editing to smooth out each and every so-called "imperfection" so a woman fits into a narrow body ideal. But what can you do if you're sick of seeing these ridiculously sexist ads? This feminist movement is using stickers to point out advertising that is bad for women, and the result will make you think twice about how we sell products.

Residents of New York City are having their advertising media evaluated by the feminist groups The National Women's Liberation and Redstockings, and the groups' protest is simple but brilliant. The group has placed stickers that state "This Oppresses Women" on ads that they deem hurt women by sexualizing them, or encouraging women to live up to an unrealistic beauty and body standard. The stickers, which were adapted from a 1969 protest sticker, are one simple way to get people thinking about the messages that they see in advertising.

A photo posted by Ian Webster (@ianpaulweb) on

It's about time that we call for smarter advertising that is better to women. Let's hope that this campaign encourages advertising agencies (and all media) to really think about how we showcase women. Women are sick of this version of representation - it's time for something real to change.

Selena GomezWho better to bust out an impersonation of you than your BFF? That's exactly what happened when Selena Gomez recently gave iHeartRadio an interview, and was asked to act out her best Taylor Swift.

Dressed up for the occasion in a tight crop top and high-waisted slacks, Sel was asked to mimic the 1989 singer during her stop by the show. Selena didn't go for the at-home Tay, and opted for stage/concert T-Swizz. She completed her impression with her pal's famous hair flip, hip shift, and point.

"Love you, Tay," the "Good For You" singer added after nailing the impersonation. Taylor wasn't the only famous person she tried to portray. She also mimicked Shakira and her amazeballs voice. The one impersonation Sel totally effed up was one of her new collaborator A$AP Rocky. Too many cuss words, yo.

Taylor and Selena recently proved their friendship is still going strong as ever. They were caught grabbing a bite to eat with each other a few days ago in Los Angeles. Sel also stars in Tay's infamously new "Bad Blood" music video, too.

Watch Selena ahem, we mean Taylor, do her thing below.

The Gold Album, produced by Ky's brother in law Kanye West, hit Spotify on Tuesday afternoon and Tyga wants you to know that his song "Pleazer" isn't about his rumored 17-year-old girlfriend. Aww, that's actually kind of a sweet Tweet, Tyg! Of course Kylie is supporting her guy's newest venture, Tweeting a link to his album and tagging him with a tongue out emoji.
