Just don't go dipping into your savings just yet: Before you win this home, you're going to have to do some homework first.
Here's how the whole process works: The family selling the house will collect $150 dollars from anyone interested in buying their home, along with a 200-word essay. The winner of the essay contest will get the keys to the two-bedroom house, meaning that the official cost of their house will will be even less than a quality coffee maker.
The family will be collecting these essays on www.150house.com, but of course, there is a catch. If you don't win the contest, you will be out $150 dollars, which will go to the family as part of the contest fee. The competition itself is how the masterminds behind the $150 house are planning on making their cash. According to the Harris County Appraisal District, the home is valued at $400,000 dollars, which means that it will take 2,667 contest fees to make back their money.
So is it worth it for the average home buyer to invest their $150 dollars in a one in 2667 chance of buying a home for less than $200 dollars? I guess that depends on how confident you are in your essay skills. So far the family hasn't specified exactly what they are looking for in their winning essay, but if you're an excellent writer who dreams of living in sunny Texas, now might be the perfect time to look into this kind of real estate.

Even Penn Badgley Didn't Get the Ending of 'Gossip Girl'
I'm a big fan of Gossip Girl. The gorgeous fashion, the endless drama, the "will-they-won't-they" romances - The CW show was six seasons of escapist fun. But despite my status as a ride-or-die Gossip Girl fan, even I know that the ending left much to be desired. (If you haven't caught up yet with the series on Netflix, read at your own risk!)
The huge reveal that it was Brooklynite Dan Humphrey behind the keys of the snarky Gossip Girl blog was a shock to everyone's system, but not because the twist was so well crafted. The big reveal left fans scratching their heads, but the person who really thought it made no sense was a little closer to the action. In a recent interview with People Magazine, Penn Badgley admitted that the reveal that Dan was Gossip Girl made no sense, which means it wasn't just fans who didn't really "get" the ending.
Yep, even the real-life Dan couldn't quite wrap his head around Dan being Gossip Guy:
"[The reveal that Dan was Gossip Girl all along] doesn't make sense! It wouldn't have made sense for anybody! Gossip Girl doesn't make sense."
He's not exactly wrong. Though there are tons of fans who insist that the show peppered clues around all six seasons that it was Dan who was the anonymous blogger, ultimately a whole lot of things just don't add up. We saw Dan look at his phone, shocked by a Gossip Girl blast dozens of times. We saw him get offended by the cruel digs and rumors sent out by the Upper East Side documentarian. We even saw him comfort his sister Jenny after Gossip Girl all but destroyed her reputation. The series finale may have tried to explain away all of these major plot holes, but the clearest explanation is that Dan is an unfeeling sociopath with a potential multiple personality disorder - and that the show's ending makes no sense.
Of course, there is one thing that even Penn admits does align Dan and Gossip Girl with one another: the fact that both GG and Dan are writers, even if Dan was all about writing the next great American novel and Gossip Girl treaded in more salacious territory. Sure, the fact connects the two characters, but I wouldn't exactly say that it makes the ending particularly logical.
Then again, Gossip Girl doesn't have to be the most logical show on the planet to be a seriously good time. The Dan reveal may not have made sense to anyone, but hey, at least it was a fun ride getting there.

The singer was recently honored with his very own wax figure at Madame Tussauds and he was pretty open about how impressed he was by um, the preciseness of his twin.The other day Eddie went to Instagram to share a selfie he took with his wax figure. We thought every detail looked dead on, but there was one feature he thought was really awesome.

Don't look for Zooey Deschanel to be on the cover of a magazine showing off her post-baby bod in a bikini once she delivers her little one.Earlier this month, the New Girl star, told Cosmopolitan, "Haven't we all seen those pictures of a sexy new mom in a bikini after one month? I will not be that person. I've always gone my own course and never been someone who had the need to be super skinny. I just eat healthy and work out and don't worry about my weight too much."

After Lil Mama decided to jump on stage during Jay Z and Alicia Keys performance at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, it didn't seem like she could ever top that moment.
But, when she dropped the video for her comeback song "Sausage" this week, the rapper proved that theory wrong. In the video, which debuted on World Star Hip-Hop Thursday, Lil' Mama raps about safe sex, channels Mary J. Blige, Michael Jackson and Madonna, appears to have a Jamaican dancehall party and shows off her "mean" strut, among many other things.
"Eggs, bacon, grits (sausage!) / you better use a condom if you taking that (sausage!)," Lil Mama says in the lyrics, referencing the popular #SausageMovement on Vine. This song marks the former America's Best Dance Crew judge's first released track in more than five years, and when Twitter got wind of it, it turned into a top trending topic.
"Lil mama just doesn't allow herself to be defeated. that's admirable," one user tweeted. "I didn't finish the Lil Mama video because I got tired. I had to lay down," someone else said. Essentially, Twitter went in on the video:

Emma Stone's 'Aloha' Co-Star Helped Her Through Her Acne Problem
Even Emma Stone deals with acne problems from time to time.The 26-year-old actress revealed she was struggling with some bad acne flare-ups while shooting her new film Aloha in Hawaii, and one of her co-stars made it his mission to help her feel better about it.
"I think Bill Murray was a little bit worried about me on Aloha because I had a really bad acne problem which they took out of the movie, 'cause I was having some sleep issues," Emma told Yahoo! Movies UK. "On a daily basis, he would bring me nice little presents. Like he would go to a concert and bring me a keychain, or he would go to a store and bring me Maui Onion potato chips. He just kept bringing me these little presents, like a visor, some slippers. He was pretty sweet. He's a very thoughtful man."
Acne issues are tough enough, but having to deal with it while shooting a big budget movie is a whole different ball game. Kudos to Bill for giving Emma a boost while she was feeling down about it.

Congrats! Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney Welcome Baby Girl
Congratulations are in order for Teen Mom OG star Maci Bookout and boyfriend Taylor McKinney, who welcomed their daughter, Jayde Carter, on Friday.
"Jayde made her grand entrance at 1:59pm today," Maci shared with her fans on Twitter on May 29. "She weighed 7lbs 15oz at birth. She is beautiful and as healthy as can be!"
This is Maci's second child, as she shares 6-year-old Bentley with her ex, Ryan Edwards. We're sure little Benny is over the moon right now, because as we saw on the show, he could NOT wait to be a big brother.
After Maci shared the good news on Twitter, her fellow Teen Mom stars jumped in to congratulate her.

Adam Levine's Throat Problems Cancel Maroon 5 Concert
Adam Levine is having a rough year.
Not long after a fan attacked him on stage and then a random guy sugar-bombed him outside of Jimmy Kimmel Studios weeks later, the Maroon 5 frontman is dealing with a little bit of a setback.
Maroon 5 had to cancel their concert tonight at the Echo Arena in Liverpool because Adam is dealing with some throat problems, the "Sugar" crooner announced to fans Friday.
Guys, I HATE having to let you down tonight. My chords are toast. We resume Sunday in Birmingham. Apologies. :(

According to E! Online, he also previously released a statement, saying, "I am really sorry not to be able to perform tonight, but I have been told to rest up by the doctor. Report: Bruce Jenner Will Pose for 'Vanity Fair' as a Woman
Now that Bruce Jenner has revealed he's transgender, he's reportedly ready to show the world "Her."
According to People, the 65-year-old former Olympian will appear as a woman on an upcoming cover of Vanity Fair, which will be shot by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz. A source told People the issue is set to hit stands this summer.
Bruce, who calls his female identity, "Her," told Diane Sawyer in an interview last month, "Yes, for all intents and purposes I am a woman." On the Keeping Up with the Kardashians: About Bruce special, he told Khloé Kardashian earlier this year, it was "quite possible" that he would transition in the spring.
Kim Kardashian, recently revealed in an interview with Access Hollywood that she had met her dad as "her," calling it an "amazing experience." The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star added, "She was dressed up: beautiful makeup, beautiful hair....very, very, very beautiful."
"It was very comfortable" and "really natural," she continued. In addition to his Vanity Fair cover, Bruce will also chronicle his life in an eight-part docuseries that premieres July 26 at 9 p.m. E.T. on E!.

We've all wanted Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift to date for like years now. So why haven't they?Ed recently answered that infamous question, and was asked if they ever smashed during an interview. Not only were his responses epic, but his reactions were, too.

Paris Removing All Love Locks from Famous Bridge
Say it isn't so. Paris is ending its relationship with its famous love lock tradition.For years, couples have come to Pont des Arts bridge, among other monuments in the city, put their names or initials on padlocks, attach it there, and usually throw the keys into the Seine River.
Now, Paris officials have decided to take all of the locks down, according to the Los Angeles Times, which reported the weight of the locks and possible danger of the bridge collapsing because of it has become too much of a risk.
"This phenomenon generates two problems: a lasting degradation of the heritage of Paris and also a risk to the safety of visitors, Parisians and tourists," city hall said in a statement, adding that the lock takedown would begin Monday. Prior to the decision, officials tried to encourage visitors to take selfies and post their "love lock" online, rather than adding a lock to the bridge. But, that didn't deter much of anyone from doing it.The tradition was so popular that there are about a million padlocks, weighing about 45 tons, that have to be cut down. According to Forbes, the bridge will be closed for a week while all of the locks are removed. Once it's clear, Mayor Anne Hidalgo said the rails will be replaced with "an unprecedented artistic intervention, conducted by international artists."
Transplant panels will also be permanently installed, to make sure no one starts up the tradition again.

Just a couple of weeks after Jaden Smith rocked a Batman costume to prom, the After Earth star headed back to the big dance in a dress.
This time he escorted 16-year-old Hunger Games actress Amandla Stenberg to prom, who posted several shots of them on Instagram this weekend, showing off their outfits before they made their way and while they were there.
