2014 NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment UpfrontsKim Kardashian totally had a Mean Girls moment at the NBC upfronts in New York yesterday. The reality star and her sister, Khloe Kardashian, found out they were going to be sitting next to fellow E! star, Joan Rivers and they were like...


"Khloe and Kim were seated next to Joan Rivers, but they had them move her," a source tells Us Weekly. "Kim and Khloe both don't want drama and can't fake it anymore with Joan, so they asked the staff to keep them separate."

What's the issue? Well, Joan has made more than a few mean remarks about the famous family on her show Fashion Police. She also called Kim's daughter North West "ugly," so there's that, too.

Most recently, when the 80-year-old comedienne spoofed Kim's sex tape with Ray J, Khloe actually cancelled a scheduled appearance she had on the show.

You'll Never Believe What's Being Sold Out of This Vending Machine

Germaphobes, rejoice! There is now a new way to get your salad fix without worrying who coughed in your croutons or sneezed in the Caesar at the salad bar.

Farmer's Fridge in Chicago has just introduced a brand new salad vending machine. And no, we're not talking about this kind of "salad" in a vending machine situation...


This is full-on, fresh salad, made fresh every morning with organic, locally-grown produce. The salads come in a recyclable plastic jar and can be customized with your choice of protein, veggies and dressing.

People definitely seem to be digging the salad vending machine, as it has a perfect, five-star rating on Yelp (since when are people Yelping about vending machines?) and the only complaint people seem to have is the price.

While a normal snag of item C-4 will usually cost you anywhere from 75 cents to $2.00, the Farmer's Fridge stuff averages about $8 and can go higher, depending on your add-ons.

Still, it's a pretty cool concept, although we have to think the pot vending machine people are probably kicking themselves right now because the salad peeps scored what would have been a prime piece of real estate for them. Location is everything.

Liam Payne buying Malibu houseLiam Payne is reportedly looking to buy a house in Malibu, but does that mean the One Direction singer will move to the U.S.? Bandmate Harry Styles already bought a home in L.A., so maybe they'll be able to hang in Calif together in their downtime.

Of course, take this all with a grain of salt, as an insider told The Mirror (via ContactMusic) that Liam spilled the beans on making his American move while at David Beckham's event earlier this week. The source squealed: ''Liam caught the eye of a fashion student from ­California at the bash. He made a bee line for her and told her that he is currently looking at buying a ­beachside place in Malibu and that he plans to move there next year."

We'll have to wait and see if Liam doesn't take up residence stateside, but why not buy a posh pad in Malibu? Being named part of the richest boyband means he's got the cash to blow.

Taylor Swift's Famous Friends Think She's a Copycat?

Taylor SwiftIs Taylor Swift a follower, not a leader? According to a new report in OK! magazine, Taylor is trying to reinvent her image by stealing her famous BFFs' style ideas.

A source told the mag that Taylor is "going to her self-assured pals for everything from diet tips to fashion inspiration" because she's sick of people "knocking her goody-two-shoes persona."

"Taylor loves Lorde's grungy look and calls her constantly asking her advice on what to wear," the insider added.

The report also says that Taylor is so skinny now because she's on a drastic weigh-loss diet to look more like her model friend Karlie Kloss. It also says she's "coming off a little creepy and pushing her girlfriends away."

Gossipcop.com is shutting down the story though, saying a source close to T-Swift told them this friend-following story simply isn't true. As far as her pushing her pals away...the girl has TONS of girlfriends, we doubt that will ever be a problem.

Man Hides Under America Ferrera's Dress on Cannes Red Carpet: Weirdest. Prank. Ever.

Man hides under America Ferrera dress CannesThis has to be the weirdest thing to ever happen on a red carpet. A man stormed the How To Train Your Dragon 2 red carpet in Cannes and, attempting to go unnoticed (yeah, right), hid under actress America Ferrera's dress.

We know. WTF, right? Um...where was security to prevent something like this from happening?

The man was taken away by security, but not without leaving America looking understandably flustered by the strange turn of events. Ever the pro, she continued on after the incident, smiling for the camera and looking knockout gorgeous in her flowing dress (once she had the guy removed from it).

The man is journalist/prankster Vitalii Sediuk, who has ambushed red carpets before (trying to kiss Will Smith, hugging Bradley Cooper, burying his face in Leo DiCaprio's crotch) as well as crashed Adele's 2013 Grammys speech.

Seeing him under America's dress though? He looks like a total creeper.

Jennifer Lawrence's Effort to Dance With Jennifer Lopez Was an Epic Fail

This is just one more reason why we love Jennifer Lawrence.

While The Hunger Games star and Jimmy Fallon were at an event recently, the duo spotted Jennifer Lopez and decided to choreograph a routine on the spot to get her to dance with them.

Let's just say that plan didn't go so well...especially after several rounds of Jello shots.

"We came up with this idea together," the 23-year-old actress told Fallon on The Tonight Show. "We both saw J.Lo, and this was like 10 Jello shots in. And I've never done Jello shots-I didn't go to college. And we were dancing and we saw J.Lo and we were like, 'Well, we gotta get J. Lo to dance!' So I was like, 'Okay, what we'll do is we'll do a spin, and then we'll go, 'Dance with us!'"

After they worked out the moves, it was time to take action. "So, basically, I do it, he's gone and it's just me looking at J.Lo going, 'Dance with...me!'" J.Law said. "And she was like 'I think I'm just gonna...observe.' You made me look like a freak in front of J.Lo! Do you know what that feels like?"

Jimmy said in the midst of his spin, he caught J.Lo's manager's eye and basically got shut down from going through with the plan. "Here's what happened, I know her manager. I'm turning around, I'm spinning around and he was like 'no.' And I turned the other way, and you [spinned] and I walked the other way and started dancing.

The duo then went on to have a dance party right in the middle of the show.

"Jennifer Lopez, if you're watching, we both did want to dance with you," Jimmy said. "Just dance with us," J. Law added. "Do some Jello shots."

Sneaky Beagle Rearranges Furniture to Steal Food

This dog is determined and we commend him for not letting anything stand in the way of his dreams. After all, all the poor pup wants is his snack.

Not only is he committed, this dog would be super handy to have around the house. He can move stuff, he's agile and he's obviously really smart. Smarter than his owner - or so he thought.

"After noticing the chair being moved each time I return home from an outing, I decide to put on a 'spy camera' to find out who moved the chair," the owner captioned the video.

Busted! You know what, though? When you see how happy his little face is when he realizes that he can, in fact, move the chair, it's kinda hard not to be happy for him. Especially when he tries to jump up the first couple of times and he can't...quite...get there.

We aren't going to lie, we were totally going through the motion in our chairs hoping to virtually give him that little extra oomph he needed. Obviously, it worked, cause the beagle finally busted out a big enough jump to help him score his snack.

Congratulations, dog, on a well-deserved treat. But wait, how's he gonna open the bag?!

34-Year-Old Woman Busted for Posing as a High School Sophomore

Wait...what?!

A 34-year-old woman shocked students at a Texas high school when she was busted for posing as a teen. The students at New Life Christian School knew her as "Charite Stevens," a 15-year-old home schooled student who wanted to transfer to the school, according to Jezebel.

After starting classes as a sophomore last October, no one questioned Charity Anne Johnson (the woman's real name)'s story or her age. That was, until, she got into an argument with friend Tamica Lincoln, who was housing her. Tamica ended up calling police after suspecting that Charity was using a fake identity, and told officers she no longer wanted the woman in her home.

"I sympathized with her, and invited her into my home," Tamika said. "I took her in as a child, did her hair, got her clothes and shoes. I just don't know why she did it."

Although Charity told police her name was "Charite Stevens" and she was born in November 1997, they determined she had given them a false name and birthdate. She was arrested and held on $500 bond for allegedly giving false information to police.

Minnesota Toddler Falls 11 Stories from Apartment Building and Survives

Talk about a lucky day.

Musa Dayib, 15 months, is being called a "miracle baby" after he fell 11-stories from an apartment balcony in Minneapolis, Minn. and survived.

According to the Minneapolis Tribune, The tiny tot's father, Guled Ahmed, was playing with his two children in the living room of the apartment when he went to the kitchen. Less than a minute later, his 3-year-old daughter ran up to him and said "the baby fell."

Guled then looked over the balcony railing and saw his son lying on the ground 11 stories below. He grabbed his daughter and ran down 11 flights of stairs to get to him as quickly as possible.

Surprisingly, the baby was crying and conscious when security guard Larry Ross ran over to the boy as his father was making his way down. According to Larry, the baby landed on a patch of "mulch-covered ground," and just missed the sidewalk and a steel box that contained electric equipment.

The little guy is in critical but stable condition at Hennepin County Medical Center, where doctors are calling him "the miracle baby." He has severe injuries, including fractures and a concussion, but he is alive and recovering.

Austin MahoneJustin Bieber might be heading to prom this year, but you won't catch Austin Mahone there. The singer just revealed that he's not really into the idea of the big high school event.

During an interview with Yahoo! News, Austin made his opinion on prom pretty clear. He simply has more important things to do than dance around with a group of kids he'll probably never see again.

"I never went to prom and I don't really care about prom either. I'd much rather be traveling the world and doing way cooler things than dancing with random people," he explained.

Maybe Austin's too busy hanging out with Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabella for prom? The two were recently spotted together out on a movie date.

Cara Delevingne's new bunny CecilOur resident girl crush Cara Delevingne has a new pet and it's already much cooler than any of us. The British supermodel first introduced the world to her new bunny via Instgram, sharing this adorable pic of her puckering up to her pet.

"Meet my new bunny @cecildelevinge," she captioned the shot. In two days, Cecil already has more than 50,000 followers on Instagram. If you follow Cara's baby rabbit, you can see her being snuggled by famous friend Rita Ora, in bed with Cara and meeting her 102-year-old grandma.

Cara's latest accessory is super cute, but seeing her glued to her new furry friend makes us wonder what happened to her other constant companion: Michelle Rodriguez. Remember that hit song "A Drop in the Ocean"?

Of course you do. Well, the guy behind it has a brand new album out that you have to get your hands on. Ron Pope got on the phone with us to chat about his eleventh studio album, Calling Off The Dogs, and here are the 5 things you need to know about him.

5: He had dreams of another occupation before becoming a musician. "I wanted to be a baseball player," said the Georgia native. "I played the first two years of college, but then I got hurt. I've always loved music and been in bands, but once I couldn't play baseball anymore, [music] became the essential focus of my life."

4: Ron is a pop-rock singer-songwriter, but he appreciates all kinds of music. "As an artist, everything you hear has to influence you in some way. Whether it's 'I definitely want to do that' or 'I don't want any of that in my music.'" His family's eclectic taste rubbed off on him. "My parents liked country music, Elvis, Sinatra and soul music. My mom's into pop and my dad is more rock. The first thing I found on my own was hip-hop."

3: His biggest hit yet, "A Drop in the Ocean," was actually written in 2005, which was years before it was released on The Bedroom Demos in 2008, but that's not out of the ordinary for Ron. "All of my songs kind of come from the same place. I'll sit down to write and whether I have a melodic idea or some chords - I just sit and hash it out. I'm one of those people that write a lot of songs and then I'll figure out what works and doesn't work."

2: The 30-year-old singer put in overtime for his latest album, Calling Off the Dogs. "I wrote 50 songs or so," he told us." Well the strategy seems to have paid off - he even got his album title from his favorite song on the album.

1: "I came up with a bunch of titles and a lot of them felt generic," Ron told us about his interesting album name. "In the song 'Silver Spoon,' there's a line that says 'When they're calling off the dogs, and you're sleeping on the lawn, will your heart desert me?' This record to me feels incredibly original, so I felt like it needed a title that felt unique. I felt like it was a very distinct title."

Three Dogs, Three Sausages, One Very Unexpected Ending

Two massive dogs vs. a chihuahua just doesn't sound like a good scenario, especially when there's sausage involved. The first thing we thought when we started watching this clip is 'this can't end well...' and it doesn't, but not for the reason you might expect.

Elmo the chihuahua is actually a fat a** in skinny dog's clothing and when the sausage comes into play, the claws come out. You actually see the wheels in his teeny tiny brain starting to spin as soon as sausage meets the cement.


It all happens so fast, the two big dogs don't even know what happened. We were actually kind of pissed at Elmo because those other guys are so darn cute and they showed some serious restraint when the evil sausage thief struck.


Fortunately, the owner said that the other guys eventually got their snacks back...and Elmo probably won't be showing his face in these parts of town for quite some time.

This Bullied Kid Finally Stood Up for Himself and It Was Perfect

At one time or another, we've probably all been victims of bullies. Whether it was at school, at work or even online. None of us is immune to it and when it happens to you, it can completely crush your spirit.

In this video, Jake (who has autism) stands up to the bullies in his class and we just want to jump through our screen and hug him cause if there's anything tougher than getting bullied, it's standing up for yourself against them.

Jake collectively puts his entire class in their place when he opens up about he feels when nobody will talk to him or be his friend. And you wanna know what? Some jerks in the bunch have the nerve to mock him WHILE he's pouring his heart out and begging for their kindness.

"I just want you guys to see me for me and really try to be my friend," he pleads. "Because I want to try to be your friend, but you don't try to be mine...and that really makes me feel kinda bad...I see you guys laughing over there."

The whole thing was filmed as part of The BULLY Project and those people who were laughing at him just proved how critically important this project actually is.

Fortunately, Jake is doing great now. "Bullying has had a big impact on my life, but since the movie I've made a lot of friends," he tells UpWorthy. "Recently, I have joined my high school football team! At first I thought they would all be complete jerks, but actually they are pretty cool guys and have helped me through a lot of situations - they stand up for me!"

Get it, girl! Ariana Grande took the stage at the Billboard Music Awards tonight and she brought a slew of shirtless dudes with her.

The Sam & Cat star performed her hit "Problem" with Iggy Azalea wearing a black and white colorblocked minidress and knee high checked boots.

Before her sexy show, the singer was busy trying to hide an unsightly insect bite. "Warming up & trying desperately to cover up what is the worst spider bite of all time on my leg before this show starts. #glaaamorous #bbmas," she Tweeted.

We were so busy admiring her dance moves and booty shaking ability that we didn't see notice insect bites, so we guess her makeup or wardrobe team did a good job hiding it. Does anyone else find it ironic that Ariana's hit is all about getting rid of a toxic ex (presumed to be Jai Brooks) but she's apparently back together with him?

Kendall Jenner Bombs at Billboards, Introduces 5 Seconds of Summer as One Direction

We're pretty embarrassed for Kendall Jenner right now. She got all glammed up for the Billboards to present at the annual awards show in Vegas, and it was a pretty epic fail.

Sure, she looked hot in her side-boob-baring top, but the 18-year-old was supposed to announce Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer, and instead, she started to say One Direction...the same band her former beau Harry Styles is in.

"Now we welcome...One," she started to say, before doubling over and dissolving into laughter. "Guys, I'm the worst reader."

She still couldn't get the band's name out, finally just saying: "They're only getting bigger! Take a look." Kendall later blamed her major flub on bad eyesight on Twitter, but we're pretty sure it's a sign she's still crushing on her ex, Harry.

"Andddd as if I wasn't nervous already!!!! #NeverLeavinMyContactsAtHomeAgain! #LOL #LessonLearned," she Tweeted. More like #NeverGettingAskedToPresentAtBillboardsAgain!

Lorde Performs "Tennis Court," Dances Frantically at Billboard Music Awards

Lorde performed her hit "Tennis Court" for the very first time on national TV at the Billboard Music Awards, and it was rather interesting.

We're used to seeing the Grammy award winning singer sway slowly and croon, but she took this opportunity to actually dance...at least that's what we think she was doing?

The 17-year-old New Zealand born musician got down during her performance but we're not sure what to make of her spastic moves.

Not that she probably cares at all what anyone thinks...before she took the stage, she'd already scored two awards: Top Rock Song for "Royals" and Top New Artist. And while we're sure she was stoked to win twice, it seems Lorde was most excited about Nicki Minaj, who introduced her.

"Thank you for introducing me @NickiMinaj I am completely honoured," she Tweeted post-performance. Lorde's comments about rap music in an interview were interpreted as a diss against Nicki last year, so we're glad to see all is well between these gals.
