Remember when everyone was watching a cover video of Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know" on YouTube with five people on one guitar?

With those five talented people together, you get a band named Walk Off the Earth. The band consists of Gianni Luminati, Sarah Blackwood, Ryan Marshall, Mike Taylor and Joel Cassady.

We had the chance to do an exclusive interview with Walk Off the Earth's band member Ryan Marshall and talked about the band's musical style, what it was like covering one of the biggest songs of 2012 and what is next for them.

Though the band loves to play around with instruments and includes a lot of acoustic and bongos in their music, their sound is still a little up in the air. "I don't know what our sound is, but it's different," says Ryan, "It's indescribable."

"Me and Sarah were jumping up and down in Johnny's kitchen," says Ryan, when he and his bandmates found out about their video views the day after covering Gotye's hit song "Somebody That I Used To Know."

Gotye heard the band's cover and just like the rest of us, he loved it! "Gotye was dope. He sent us a really nice email and appreciated the cover," reveals Ryan.

Walk Off the Earth's full album will be released in February. Be sure to keep an eye out for their tour dates!

Hit the clip (above) to see what else Ryan had to say.
