Emma Watson's latest accomplishment is causing quite a buzz.After the Harry Potter alum tweeted Monday that she had been appointed a celebrity Goodwill Ambassador, the news was so popular that it crashed the United Nations' website.
"Going to be working for the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and The Empowerment of Women (!!!)," Emma tweeted, along with a link to the news release on the UN's site. "So excited to start work with the AMAZING people at UN Women!"
After welcoming Emma on Twitter as their new Goodwill Ambassador, UN Women tweeted, "The exciting announcement of @EmWatson's appointment as our Goodwill Ambassador crashed our website! We apologize &hope to be back up soon."
It's clear the members of the agency weren't the only ones who were excited about it. They soon got the issue fixed, with fans able to click the link again and check out the press release with more info about Emma's accolade.

Before receiving the honor, Emma had been working hard for years to promote girls' education, according to the press release, even visiting Bangladesh and Zambia as part of her humanitarian efforts.
