Ariana Grande is dishing on how her collaboration with Harry Styles came to be.The One Direction singer co-wrote the romantic track "A Little Bit of Your Heart" for the "Problem" crooner's upcoming album My Everything, with Ariana saying his involvement came to be after a chance meeting.
"I was at the studio one day and he was there, and literally, songwriters Johan (Carlsson) and Savan (Kotecha) were like, 'Hey, do you want to write something for Ariana?' And he was like, 'Sure, mate'. And he just did," Ariana said during her MTV special "Total Ariana Live."
'It's a beautiful song. He's an amazing writer. It's really beautiful. He's amazingly talented," she continued. Harry also worked on a song with Irish band Kodaline recently, with frontman Steve Garrigan telling Digital Spy the song might be used for a future solo album.
That doesn't mean Harry will be stepping away from 1D to pursue a solo career any time soon though. A rep for the band shot down rumors that Harry was leaving the group saying, "There are no plans for Harry to release any solo music at this time, any writing that he is doing is for potential One Direction songs.
It's common knowledge that the boys write separately and bring to each other for the album."
Meanwhile, One Direction is planning to release their next album in 2015, with Harry teasing recently that fans might hear new music from the band sooner than that. "We possibly might have an EP or something like that out by the end of the year."
