Lorde isn't just singing Taylor Swift's praises.The "Royals" crooner is also giving Rihanna props, saying she's a huge fan of the Bajan beauty's fearlessness.
"She's just magnetic, you can't not look at Rihanna," Lorde told the Evening Standard's ES magazine. "I would buy anything Rihanna sold me. The way Rihanna embodies being a sexual woman feels very 'her'. I don't think she wears Swarovski crystals to please other people, I think she wears them because she's like, 'I feel amazing, you look better. I'm obviously the best-looking thing in this room.' She's so fearless and confident, I just love her."
Lorde went on to say parents need to "chill out" when it comes to criticizing Rihanna's influence, saying, "People should stop worrying about their daughters, I don't see a female without clothing as a terrible influence. There are worse things. Shooting people, glorifying violence."
It's no secret Rihanna has no problem showing off her bod. Before she rocked the red carpet at the CFDA awards in a see-through, Swarovski crystal covered gown, she posed completely nude in a 10-page spread for LUI that hit newsstands in April.
The 17-year-old songstress also gushed over her pal Taylor Swift, saying, I think there are artists who are really incredible role models and that's something I admire. I feel like Taylor is a really good role model. And I think that the girls who listen to her music are so devoted to her. And I think that what she is saying is pretty cool. It's empowering."
Before they became friends, Lorde criticized the country crooner for being "flawless" and "unattainable," adding "I don't think it's breeding anything good in young girls." Since then, the duo has been spotted hanging out together in New York City and Malibu, Calif.
We guess she put all that behind her.
