This looks like either a prank or a scene out of a horror movie. Unfortunately, it's neither.
A man in Queens, NY got stabbed in the back and apparently didn't realize the knife was still sticking out of him when he walked into a McDonald's, talking on his cell phone, seemingly casual about the whole situation.
"He didn't even know it was in his back until somebody told him," an onlooker told ABC 7 news. "He was just standing there."
Stunned diners rushed to help the man, who had blood pouring down the back of his white shirt. Reports claim he was stabbed down the street and managed to walk to the restaurant.
And that casual phone call? It wasn't so casual, after all. "I'm pretty sure he was on the phone talking to somebody in his family or a loved one or something," a witness told CBS New York. "He was talking to them and telling them it might be the last time he's speaking to them."
The man was rushed to a nearby hospital and is listed in serious condition, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Yes, that is a knife. And yes he's (calmly) calling someone. @ABC7NY at 4. pic.twitter.com/8LtYTBFVai
