The city was already not thrilled about them coming in with their cameras and the inevitable drama that goes along with it (after all, isn't that the reason we watch any of their shows?) and now it sounds like they're trying to do something about it.
Apparently, one Hamptons hotspot wouldn't let them film there and not even a Kim Kardashian cameo could make them change their minds. An insider told RadarOnline that Nick & Toni's restaurant forbid the famous fam from filming inside their establishment, even after being told that Kim would be there, too. Obviously, the popular celeb eatery doesn't get starstruck very easily - if at all.
To make matters worse, the New York Post's Page Six is reporting that residents are being encouraged to call the police if they see the Kardashians and their camera crew on any of the swanky city's beaches.
"Who gave the Kardashians permission to film? The trustees should have been notified if they had applied for a permit to film on the beach, and we were not notified," an East Hampton Trustee told the site. "Filming on our beaches is disruptive. Our residents are entitled to peace and quiet. I suggest that if anyone sees the Kardashians filming on the beach, they should call the police, because they are not legally there."
Whoa, that's some pretty serious business. But, if the network really didn't get the proper permits, would it really be Kourtney and Khloe's fault? We can't imagine them being put in charge of that particular aspect of production.
