Britney Spears lip-synching accusations are nothing new. For years, the pop star has been accused of faking it during her performances. So, when people started accusing her of lip-syncing her Las Vegas show, we weren't terribly surprised. These new complaints about the show, however, take things a step further. According to complaints filed with Planet Hollywood (and obtained by RadarOnline), people say it seems like Britney is just not that into the whole thing.
"The show was shockingly fake and Britney looked bored as hell, to put it bluntly," one mom complained.
To be fair, she probably is. How many times can you sing the same songs and do the same dance before it gets...well, boring as hell?
Other fans on Yelp have expressed similar concerns. "Saw this last night... disappointing. I really wanted to love it but its hard when she doesn't put any energy into her performance," one wrote. "She doesn't sing; She barely danced, if you call that dancing, and looked annoyed to even be there," another chimed in.
Apparently, they ARE going to address the lip-syncing thing. A Planet Hollywood insider tells Radar that, "There have been so many complaints over Britney's lip syncing, action had to be taken...Now, her microphone is switched on throughout certain songs."
Yikes, that might not be a good thing. First of all, it's tough to sound great when you're dancing, even if the dance is slightly uninspired.
Second of all, listen to the clip below, which is supposedly from one of Brit's isolated microphones. Do people really want to pay up to $500 to hear this?
