We all now know what Taylor Swift watches on TV when she's got some free time. The singer just got a new cat, and named her after her favorite TV character on Law & Order SVU."Meet Olivia Benson," Tay wrote with a photo of her new kitty on Instagram. We can only imagine what Mariska Hargitay thinks about the ode to her kickass, girl-power character on the show.
Taylor has bragged about being a fan of the series for years now. "I sit in my apartment and watch hours of that show," she told Teen Vogue in 2011. "So I sort of feel like me and Olivia are BFFs."
Liv isn't the only cat T-Swift has, either. She adopted a Scottish Fold cat a few years ago.
"Her name is Meredith, Meredith Grey because she's a gray cat, and because I love Grey's Anatomy," Tay told Us Weekly, referring to Ellen Pompeo's character on the show. "She's awesome. She's like one of those cats that give cats a good name. She doesn't hide under furniture and get weird around people. She's really friendly and fun and she's perfect for the road because she doesn't ever get freaked out. So I'm really glad that she has a cool personality."
Hey, if Taylor can't ever find the right guy, least she has her cats. Right?
