During part of the pre-game festivities before the Socceroos World Cup opener, one of the team's mascot's shoes became untied. In a simple gesture of kindness, Mark Bresciano leaned down to tie his shoes for him, since his crutches made it difficult. The touching image has gone viral, for very obvious reasons.
In an even more moving moment, Mark is seen with his hand on the young boy's head as they walk off the field.
The photo below isn't about soccer, the World Cup, or even sports at all. Those moments Mark shared on the field with that young boy are about life in general and much even the tiniest act of kindness can mean. In fact, we don't even remember what he did during that game, but we'll never forget this moment.
