Carly Rae Jepsen posted a video on her VEVO channel that gives a behind-the-scenes look at her recent concert at 5 Towers Universal CityWalk, and it even features some familiar faces from Team Cambio interviewing Carly!In the video, Carly talks about the inspiration behind her hit single 'Call Me Maybe.'
"The idea of the song is basically a pickup. It's me trying to be brave enough to ask a guy for his number," says Carly. "The truth of it is that I've never actually asked a guy for his number, and I figured that you get to live vicariously through your songs. So if I was ever brave enough, that's how I would do it."
When we talked to Carly before her show at Universal CityWalk, she opened up to us about "Call Me Maybe" cover videos, her songwriting process and how she started making music (here's our interview). She also told us what she thinks will happen when she introduces her boyfriend to Justin Bieber! Wonder if they've met, yet?
'Call Me Maybe' just reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100! Carly tweeted that she was celebrating and thanked 'Call Me Maybe' co-writers and her whole team, including Justin and Scooter!
