Breastfeeding a baby is one of the most natural things in the world, but when 25-year-old mom Karlesha Thurman posted a pic of herself breastfeeding at her college graduation, the haters really came out to criticize her.
Karlesha is a recent California State University Long Beach graduate who shared the pic of her nursing her baby during the graduation ceremony on the Black Women Do Breastfeed Facebook page.
Karlesha got loads of positive comments about the pic, but, as you can guess, plenty of people voiced their disgust over the photo, like @jerseygrad2016, who wrote: "I'm all for breast feeding. But at a graduation come on y'all that was inappropriate"
She rose above the haters and retweeted a number of the supportive tweets she received, like @marianxo__, who wrote: "Honestly ? Shaming a woman for breast feeding at her graduation? Babies gotta eat too. tf ? Y'all trip Over the stupidest things."

Karlesha wrote the following on Facebook to explain her journey: "I found out I was pregnant my last year of college, had my daughter one week into my last semester, she was my motivation to keep going, so me receiving my BA was OUR moment, so glad I captured the moment and so glad you shared it with the world so thank you again."
And on Twitter, she explained, "I never posted that picture on twitter or ig, I posted it as a comment on FB, never thought it would get this much attention"
She also tweeted the most important thing, despite all of the fallout: "My daughter is happy && healthy....that's all that matters to me"
