A new One Direction movie is in the works. It's official. While we speculated this may be happening when the 1D guys were spotted being followed by cameras at various locations on their 2014 tour, it's finally been confirmed that the footage is for a new movie.We're pretty much beyond excited. Ever since we watched This Is Us the first of many times, we knew in our 1D lovin' hearts that there just had to be more. After all, with a huge stadium tour underway, there are so many opportunities to tell so many more stories, right?
This Is Us director director Morgan Spurlock shared the amazing news, telling The Mirror, "Yes, there will be a follow-up to This Is Us. At this moment Ben Winston is with the band on their world tour filming what happens. He worked with me and is a great producer."
He added, "I know Simon Cowell wants the band to get awards for this and was upset when they missed out on being nominated in the music category for an Oscar on our film. It was a good song and I was surprised that they weren't even considered. This time he will want them to try again."
