Taylor Swift reunited with Selena Gomez at the 2014 Met Gala in New York City Monday night, but that was almost ruined by one feisty girl...and we aren't talking about one of the Jenner sisters, either.Taylor's cat Meredith apparently got jealous of the attention Tay's gown was getting and decided to full force destroy.
"That moment when your cat casually walks up,then abruptly ATTACKS your custom satin Oscar de la Renta gown during your fitting for Met Ball," T-Swift tweeted right before yesterday's big events.
Luckily, everything worked out for her and she ended up walking the red carpet looking fab. It's unclear if that particular dress was the one she ending up wearing, but she didn't tweet about any more mishaps and she did walk the carpet in an Oscar gown. We're pretty sure they saved the dress from Mere or the singer would've updated her story on Twitter.
Selena went to Instagram to brag about her time with Taylor at the Gala by posting a video that shows them acting very T-Swift like. In the clip, the gorgeous girls make goofy faces and swirl around like little girls in their gowns.
This dress meow-madness wasn't the only time Meredith's taken the spotlight from her owner. Taylor showed off her feline's hidden talent a few months ago and it was pretty cool. See that here.
