Sounds like Daniel Craig was not a theater-goer who helped Breaking Dawn Part 2 rake in $141 million dollars this past weekend. The Skyfall star was asked recently if he thought Kristen Stewart had a future being a Bond girl.
"Would she make a good Bond girl? No, she's in Twilight," Daniel told the Jackie O show in Australia.
A few days later the actor backtracked on his comments: "No, I'm being nasty. It's only because [Skyfall] is coming out at the same time [as Breaking Dawn Part 2], we're in direct competition. I'm sure she'd make a great Bond girl."
So how did this all start?
Extra asked the 22-year-old actress recently if she had any interest. Kristen's response:
"I'm not sure, I think I would love to read a few graphs of the script. I choose my roles really instinctually. I would really have to connect with the material. As long as I'd get to have a gun, I don't know, maybe?"
When Kristen was pressed for an answer she said: "I am so non-committal, I can't go there with you," before sarcastically adding, "Yes, hell yes!"
What do you think, would you like to see Kristen as a Bond girl? Sound off below!
