Not everyone's a Directioner, but most people have at least heard of the super-size boy band.We found someone who hadn't.
When Cambio visited the set of the Nickelodeon TV movie Swindle recently, we got the chance to chat with Jennette McCurdy and Noah Munck about their new spin-offs, special guests on iCarly and the series finale.
"One Direction was insane," says Noah Munck, while Jennette McCurdy didn't seem to even know who the boys were prior to the episode. Now that's really insane!
It's true. "I hadn't heard of One Direction before they were on the show," Jennette reveals.
She did, however, know A-lister Emma Stone. "Emma Stone was amazing," says Jennette. And sweet. "She sent cupcakes to the set the next day."
The two iCarly stars dished a bit about their upcoming spin-offs. "It's going to be gibbylicious," says Noah about his new show (which follows Gibby as the main character).
As for Jennette, she will be teaming up with Victorious's Ariana Grande as they do a double spin-off called "Cat and Sam," which follows their characters from Victorious and iCarly as unlikely roommates.
Of course we had to ask about the iCaryl finale. "It was five-and-a-half years. We were the tightest-knit group of people," Jennette says, as she thinks back on the series. "It was definitely a sad day," adds Noah.
iCarly's series finale airs on November 23 on Nickelodeon!
