The fan reception has been amazing and some have even compared her voice to Taylor Swift.
Still, the 22-year-old former Zoey 101 star reveals that she was incredibly nervous before the release.
"I thought I was gonna have an anxiety attack," she revealed to Taste of Country.
Perhaps part of the reason is because the song is so incredibly personal. Jamie Lynn explained that the song is about her fiance, Jamie Watson, during a point when they had broken up.
"So every time I go to sing it, all those emotions just come running back up and I just end up crying," she says.
Fortunately, everything worked out and Jamie and Jamie are engaged to be married AND he loves the song!
Jamie Lynn hasn't revealed when her highly-anticipated album will drop, but she did say that she's still working on it, so it looks like we'll just have to be patient!
