Now that all the Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner dating buzz is simmering down, let's look at a few lingering rumors.
First up, Harry and Kendall were reportedly set up by her sister Khloe and Harry's friend Nick Grimshaw.
Heat magazine (via Sugarscape) reports that Khloe hit up Nick for the favor when One Direction was performing on the X Factor, with hopes that the 1D star and her sis could go out.
A source explained, "Kendall was the first person Harry called when he landed in the US last week."
The source added that Khloe wanted the couple to hit it off, saying, "[She] would love her sister to be dating someone who's a bit more clean cut and has his own money. Khloe knows that Kendall loves One Direction, and she's met Harry before and thinks that he'd be the perfect match for her sister."
Was Harry and Kendall's date just a PR stunt though? That's one theory, supported by a source who tells HollywoodLife.com, "They were originally put together on dates to get him in the news for album selling purposes, and to make Kendall get some news as well. But they actually became friendly from it!"
Meanwhile, a new rumor about a supposed love triangle between Harry, Kendall and Austin Mahone has been brewing!
Austin told E! News at the AMAs (where he presented an award with Kendall), "I'm still crushing on Kendall."
When asked why he'd be a better match for her than Harry, he said, "I'll treat her right."
And finally, there are some conflicting reports about Taylor Swift's reaction to the whole Harry and Kendall dating rumor--last week, a source told HollywoodLife said Taylor was fine with it, but Star magazine paints a different picture.
According to the tabloid, Taylor was "perhaps the person most upset about the new pairing."
GossipCop.com is shooting this one down, with a source telling the site, this latest report is "100 percent untrue."
Is the whole Harry and Kendall dating thing behind us? A source tells HollywoodLife: "She really likes him. But their schedules rarely mesh, which is relationship poison."
