"#NYC," the singer posted on Instagram Sunday, along with a selfie that showed off her chopped locks.
According to MTV, Rihanna first debuted the look while rocking a suede black bodysuit from her River Island clothing line, no pants, and suede over-the-knee boots on a chilly night in New York City last weekend.
The pop star, who recently released the latest music video for her song "What Now," gave a shout out to her hair stylist Ursula Stephen for crafting the bob.
