More specifically, he said, "I think there has also been a shift in culture. We weren't exposed to the things we didn't have in the same way that kids these days are. There was not that window into the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Kids weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing or where Kanye West was going on vacation and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success."
Since then, Kanye made a remark about Kim being more influential than Michelle Obama and he's obviously still harboring some resentment towards the President.
In a new interview with 107.9 FM in Philadelphia, Yeezus explained that he would prefer that Mr. President "not mention my baby mama name."
Yep, seriously.
This isn't the first time 'Ye has expressed his discontent for a President. In 2005, Kanye took the inopportune moment during a Hurricane Katrina relief benefit to declare his belief that "George Bush doesn't care about black people."
So, there was that, too.
