One of the eliminated acts this week, Sweet Suspense, chatted with us after the show about their experience.
"I just wanted to get down there and get through it as quickly as possible," Millie Thrasher said. "My first thought was to keep it together, don't cry until you get off stage." But the trio ultimately looked at the bright side. "You have to get it through your head that you're not coming back. That process is over but it's not over completely," Summer Reign said. "We're staying together as a group, we're not splitting up. The first thing we said to each other was 'This is it, but we can honestly only go up from here.'"
Though the girls' X Factor journey is over, they've come quite far from three individual auditions. "The highlight of this entire experience has been gaining two sisters and two best friends. A hundred thousand people auditioned and we came in 12th place? That makes me so happy. We're so proud of ourselves," Celine Polenghi told us.
They got to chat with another group who knows a thing or two about life after X Factor--Fifth Harmony. "We're compared to them all the time, so it was really cool to have them come up to us and say, 'You guys can do this, don't give up. Keep your head up, there's so much potential.' Hearing them was really motivational for us," said Millie.
Now that Sweet Suspense is out of the competition, they have some tips for their fellow competitors. "Keep moving forward and take it one week at a time," Summer said. "Work your butts off, honestly!"

In the end, Sweet Suspense couldn't be more grateful for their X Factor opportunity. "Thank you guys so much for believing in us and sticking up for us," Summer said to their admirers. "Millions of people voted and fans have their favorites, but we still had votes."
We can't wait for the "suspense" of seeing what this trio does next!
