Paradise Fears, originally from South Dakota, is one of the best bands you probably haven't heard of...yet.
After touring the country with fellow pop rock bands The Ready Set, All Time Low, The Cab and The Summer Set, Paradise Fears decided to try their hand at YouTube and started posting cover videos on their channel. Two of their covers quickly went viral (Payphone and Call Me Maybe), and they now have almost 40,000 subscribers and over 5 million total video views!
They most recently shared the stage with Ashland High (Trace Cyrus' band) and Forever The Sickest Kids on tour this summer.
Paradise Fears has begun using their fan base and online following to give back. They recorded a cover of The Fighter by Gym Class Heroes featuring Ryan Tedder and continue to donate all of the proceeds from the iTunes sales of the song to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
"We were always looking for an opportunity for our band to be able to give back, and I worked pretty closely with Children's Miracle Network through student council in high school," says lead singer Sam Miller. "When we did the cover, we felt this amazing, uplifting vibe to the song, and we wanted to give the video a worldly feel, like 'everyone is a fighter.'"
They even visited the kids at a CMN hospital in their home state and plan to visit more across the US in the future.

So, why should you listen?
"Because our music is genuine. It's six kids who truly care about the music they make and the people they make it for. I also think it's worth noting that our band is genuinely independent and self-made, we don't have a manager or a label pushing us," says Sam. "We're committed to owning every aspect of our project."
