After coming in fourth last season on X Factor, Emblem3 have continued to make a name for themselves. Drew, Wes and Keaton came by to chat about the show, touring with Selena Gomez and their new album, Nothing to Lose.
"The title came from going to the X Factor experience," Wes reveals. "We were like, 'We're going to do our best, and if we do our best, then you can't really lose.' Everything we needed to learn to be successful in the industry, we learned through that experience."
They may have lost X Factor, but opening for Selena Gomez sounds like a win to us! "Her management contacted ours and said, 'Hey I think it'd be cool if you guys came out on tour for the North American dates,'" says Drew. "We took the opportunity and we're really grateful to be a part of it."
Their first single, "Chloe," was released in April, but their favorite song off the album is their second single, "3000 Miles." "It relates to us so much because we're always on the road," Wes explains. "We moved from our small hometown, and every kid in the whole world wishes he was doing this--I'm loving every second of it, we're so blessed."
Which other X Factor bands are they fans of? "Fifth Harmony, definitely," says Wes. "1D is tight. That's my favorite out of all TV show artists."
