"You don't get scared--[though] things can get creepy," Patrick tells us. "But of course no one's walking around in character. Making a horror movie is not a frightening experience."
Rose, however, might beg to differ. "There's not much CGI or special affects so it's fairly authentic," she says. "I was reacting mainly to Patrick acting like a psychopath."
Which horror movies have given the pair a scare? "The Conjuring [also starring Patrick] gave me a few nightmares!" Rose says. "I was scared when I watched it, then I had these dreams--my goodness."
Patrick fesses up, "I remember seeing the TV version of Salem's Lot and as a child I was freaked out."
Insidious 2 will be out in theaters on September 13.
