Lamar Odom is being sued for more than $565,000 stemming from his dispute with a paparazzo back in July when he took the photog's camera and threw it in the street.This is probably the last thing Lamar Odom needs right now.Back in July, the former NBA star lost his temper with a paparazzo after he asked him if he had cheated on wife Khloe Kardashian.
Lamar got so angry, he went into the guy's car, took out his camera and threw it in the street. He also hit another car with a metal bar.
Originally, it looked like Lamar was off the hook when a report surfaced claiming that the dispute would be settled out of court and that Lamar would probably just have to pay for the camera.
Well, it looks like there has been a change of plans.
According to TMZ (contradicting their original report), the pap is now suing Lamar for assault, conversion and trespass of property--and he's demanding more than $565,000!
"The Kardashian clan are not only wealthy and attractive--but also deeply flawed," the lawsuit claims, saying that the family believes they are above the law and feel they have a "privilege to disregard the rights of others."
The pap claims that the equipment Lamar smashed was worth $15,000--which sounds high to us, but we're not camera experts. Still, we're not sure where the other $550,000 comes into play, especially considering that figure doesn't include punitive damages.
