Kim Kardashian's former husband is reportedly selling the nearly 20 carat ring he proposed to the E! reality star with during an auction next monthNow that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are officially divorced, it seems he's ready to get rid of the engagement ring he popped the question with.The NBA basketballer originally asked for her hand in marriage with a Lorraine Schwartz diamond sparkler that was 20 karats and now an identical ring to Kim's is up for auction at Christie's in October.
The owner of the ring is listed as "property of a gentleman," but the DailyMail reports that the dimensions of the diamonds as exactly the same as Kim's ring from Kris. Although it was reported that the ring cost him $2 million when he proposed, the auction house has estimated its value at $300-500,000 instead. A portion of the proceeds will go to charity.
Kris won the ring back in their divorce settlement, although Kim wanted to keep it. The couple was married only 72 days.
