In light of criticism that Tyler has been receiving lately, he tweeted the following note so that fans (and haters) could more completely understand where he was coming from.
"Everyone assumes they know me or a lot about me. You only know what the network wanted you to know. No one knows I was molested at the age of 8. I drank my first beer & smoked my first joint at 9. I was kicked out of ALL the schools I went to. I was addicted to stealing & attempted suicide twice. So next time you think you REALLY know someone...Don't judge, keep your heart & mind open & learn to love your enemies...That's all I have to say."
Wow, that's some pretty heavy stuff.
We don't even know where to start--being molested, drugs, suicide attempts. It's a miracle that Tyler is even still here with us today, nevermind the fact that he seems to be one of the most together 21-year-olds ever!
Our hearts go out to Tyler and everything that he has had to endure and we definitely think that reinforces the old saying that you should never judge a book by its cover.
