(We'll kick it off with a bonus: His last name is pronounced like the soda, Coke!)
5: This was Alexander's first big break. "I moved to LA last September and auditioned for a bunch of movies and I wasn't getting a call back. Then Under the Dome came along and I went to audition and they kept asking me back and it happened over 2 months," Alexander shared. "The two casting directors fought for me and after the longest day of my life waiting, I got cast on January 15."
4: Alexander plays a psychopath created by Stephen King that may creep some viewers out, but there's another character Stephen created that gives him goose bumps. "I really admire Jack Nicholson's work in The Shining," said Alexander. He also mentioned how he's a big fan of Stephen's. "I love his short stories. They are so much more to the point and I think that's really where he shines."
3: Before becoming a professional actor, Alexander got his start in theater production. "That's where I first got into it, but then I got rejected from every school for theater and they were like 'This isn't going to happen.' I kind of gave up on it, but went back into it because I kept doing community theater. It's a great place to start."
2: Just because Alexander plays a specific character doesn't mean he labels him. "We have this thing in theater school where you can never judge your character. I never saw Junior as a psychopath, I don't think of him that way. He has a lot of psychological issues and he's lost a lot of his innocence."
1: Alexander is an avid collector of vinyl records, but he owes his start to two people. "I found my parents' old collection and just expanded after that," he shared. "My favorites... I really love 'Hot Rocks' which is the Rolling Stones compilation."
Don't forget to catch Under the Dome's season finale on September 16.
