The 26-year-old, who formerly starred on The Hills and currently lives with her Chicago Bears quarterback husband Jay Cutler, Tweeted about her brush with the law.
"Who knew having a California drivers license in Illinois was a CRIME to be escorted to the police station to post bail?" she Tweeted Friday. "What a morning."
When you move to Illinois, you have 90 days to get a local license, according to state law. The mom to Camden thought she was exempt since she still has property in LA.
"FYI...I still have an apartment in LA so I'm a resident of California," she Tweeted later.
