And no, it's not for having the best boy band hair or most rumored hookups--no, the honor is for their music, of course!
1D nabbed the award for having the highest debut by a UK group on the U.S. Billboards singles chart with "Live While We're Young."
Good job, guys!
Harry Styles' ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift, also made the Guinness book, earning two honors: first solo female with two million-selling weeks on the U.S. Billboard chart and fastest-selling digital single with "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
Not that she'd hold that over his head or anything.
