The successful singer and fashion designer recently gave birth to her second child, Ace Knute Johnson, with fiance Eric Johnson, and is already ready to get back to work.
According to a new report from Naughty But Nice Rob, Jessica is ready to get back in the studio!
"She is excited to start recording songs that she wants to record," a source tells the site. "At this point in her career, she no longer has to worry about singing songs a record label or dad tells her to record. She can sing whatever makes her happy, and that is exactly what she intends to do."
That's great news, especially considering we haven't heard a record from Jessica since 2010, and that was just a holiday album. Her last regular album release was five years ago!
We can't wait to hear Jessica's new music and are so curious to hear what it sounds like now that she'll be calling the shots.
