The troubled actress, who was first hospitalized on mandatory 5150 hold since setting a fire in someone's driveway in July, transferred to UCLA Medical Center in August to continue her treatment. Her mom, who's been given temporary conservatorship of her daughter, wanted Amanda at UCLA because they have one of the best psych facilities in the country.
And apparently, they're willing to spend major money for Amanda to stay there. TMZ reports UCLA costs $3,500 a day for patients, which covers both treatment and living expenses.
The 27-year-old is set to stay there for at least another 60 days, meaning she'll spend a minimum of $210,000. A judge ruled Friday that she could stay under a long-term hold for up to a year!
Amanda is reportedly being treated for schizophrenia, and shown some improvement due to a medicine cocktail her doctors prescribed.
We wish her the best for a full recovery.
